Looking for pre-cruise hotel in Fort Lauderdale for a cruise out of Port Everglades. Preferably a hotel with a shuttle to the port. Looking to get in a couple days early and enjoy the Fort Lauderdale area. Also post cruise is there a shuttle service that is reliable? Thanks.

We were hoping to take a walking tour of St George when we are in Bermuda this June. We did a van tour a few years ago, but thought a self guided walking tour would be more enjoyable as we can go at our own pace. Any idea if there are maps suitable for this that we could pick up somewhere in St George? Also how far from St George is the aquarium and crystal caves ( walking distance? or grab the bus or taxi?). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

We were at Coco Cay March 5th and there was a small amount of seaweed at the edge of beach by the water, but they had staff out raking it up. It was all gone in a short amount of time and no smell at all.

We were looking at a Celebrity Summit Cruise to Bermuda and wanted to use cruise points to pay down the total cost. Does anyone know if they just take the points an pay down the balance from what you see on the website or do they recalculate things so your points aren't worth as much? Example Cruise for 2 inside cabin shows up at $1870 ish dollars after all discounts applied when I look at the website - So if I use 100,000 points for a $1000 discount on a cruise do they just take the 1000 off of the $1870 leaving me with a roughly $800 balance? Or do they recalculate everything and eliminate all the current discounts so that it will cost me more? Thanks in advance. I know it seems like a silly question but I want to make suer before I call to try and book,I just know that sometimes with points it always isn't as simple as what it looks and I want to be sure. Thanks for the additional info - we are seriously considering this! Did you feel safe making this walk? With all the news lately NYC sounds like the Wild West! I have never been to NYC I really don't even like going to downtown Pittsburgh! The cruise we are looking at has an Itinerary that we don't want to miss. Just not thrilled at all about having to leave out of NYC. Again - much thanks!

We have cruised Celebrity several times and loved it. Looking potentially at an Oceana cruise out of NYC in September of 2023. For anyone that has cruised with both Celebrity and Oceana, how similar are they? I know that is a pretty broad question, but not sure how else to ask it. For some background we are a retired couple in our late 50's, while on board, we enjoy lounging on deck in the sun with a good book. We don't drink or gamble. We do enjoy the shows on board. Pretty much we view it as an opportunity to relax and unwind. We are a pretty relaxed laid back couple. Any help is appreciated.

Looking at a potential Oceana Cruise for 2023 with departs out of NYC ( not sure which port they use yet). Would be looking to drive in and stay in NJ pre cruise. Anyone aware of hotels in NJ that offer a park and cruise pkg with transportation to and from the NY departure port. We have stayed in Newark before for cruises out of the Cape Liberty Cruise Port. Not even sure if its a possibility to stay in NJ for a cruise out of NY. We would not be comfortable using a bus or public transportation to get to the cruise port and really do not fancy the idea of driving into NYC. Any help you all can provide is greatly appreciated.

Do you reserve the beach beds by the # of guests, or can 1 person reserve it and all in your party use it? Example - for my wife and I want to rent a beach bed and its currently at $199 for Breezy Bay for our March Sailing. Do I just reserve it and that takes care of both myself and my wife or is it $199 x 2 since there are 2 of us? Thanks in advance.

We sailed on Summit Jun 12-19 and ate all meals but 1 in the Oceanview Cafe buffet. There were no self serve items, you just told them what you wanted and they plated it for you. Food was great!

Thats great info and definitely an option to consider. We love cruising to Bermuda because the ship is docked for 2 nights, essentially a floating hotel as you said. Thank you for the tip.

Looking to book an Hawaii cruise. This will be a bucket list cruise for us. Looking for advice on: Best Cruise Line for an Hawaii Cruise? Interior or Balcony Cabin? Best Itinerary/Duration? Departure Port? Is a cruise to see Hawaii advisable or is it better to just fly to Hawaii? What is the best way to see Hawaii if you will only get there 1 time? We are a husband and wife in our 60's.
