  1. Thank you for the kind offer - but I read those when you posted them in the previous cruise thread. I was hoping for ones from the 4/22 sailing but no worries - I'll be on board on Saturday and will take it as it comes. This will be our 4th Bliss / Encore cruise to Alaska and each one is different but wonderful. I expect this one to be no less grand. 😊

I think what we’re saying is the Dailies probably won’t do you much good as there are lots of changes happening from this cruise to your cruise.  And, internet has been problematic and pictures take an inordinate time to load.  So, given how onerous it is to post pics, I won’t be posting any more dailies!

So sorry that you felt obligated to reply to this thread. I know that you have been doing a wonderful job on reviewing your cruise. But there are a lot of others on the ship who might be able to respond to my request - or not. That is why I started a separate thread. It was not a reflection on you.  Also, please do not assume that you know what might be of value to me. I have been following the Bliss Dailies since the trip up to Alaska from California. It helps me get excited for my cruise.

    Thanks to @graphicguy!!!

If using a PC to read the forum, NO. That's why I started this thread. I thought that @graphicguy might be too busy to post them so I was hoping someone else would.

I have been following this thread since it started. Just now I went back and reread every post from Page 16, Post 385 on. That's the one where @graphicguy ripped his pants on the plane. No Dailies. Is it just my PC? I'm using Firefox and have never had a problem with reading the Dailies or seeing the pictures.

  4. Just saw this from @graphicguy on another thread so I hope the new casts and crews are spending time rehearsing:

Jersey Boys and Six are leaving the Bliss the end of the week.  New cast and crew for both start on next week’s sailing.

  5. My bride and I are celebrating our 40th anniversary on the sailing that leaves 4/29. This will be our 4th trip to Alaska. (3 on the Bliss and one on the Encore.) We love the ship and are very familiar with all it has to offer but I have a couple of humble questions and a request:

    • How full is the ship and does it feel full - in other words, long wait for elevators, tables in the buffet, drinks in the bars. Our last cruise was during Covid with about 50% occupancy and a huge crew.
    • How is the Beatles cover band? Last May on the same cruise they had a new George and he was not good. Hoping for a more seasoned group this time.
    • Could someone post the Dailies (starting with Day 1)

Thank you in advance and have a wonderful cruise!

  6. I am on the Bliss for the April 29 sailing. I just got a copy of the NCL invoice and one of the promo codes is PPSRVCHG. In the add-on section of the invoice, one of the listed items is 2 x Prepaid Service Charge.

Not knowing that this promo was included in my booking, I prepaid $224 on April 1 to lock in the lower DSC price. Did I pay for something that was already included and if so, how do I get a refund? And who will it come from? I paid the $224 on the NCL website but purchased the cruise from a TA.

  7. I thought ahead and peeled the labels off of the old pill bottles last time got refills. I attached them (and those from my Bride's prescriptions) on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of card stock. I organize our pills in a pill box and keep the card in my carry on luggage in case there are any questions or I need to get an emergency refill.

  8. We did this same itinerary last year. Boarded the last day of April and cruised the first week of May. In Skagway we took the Summit Scenic Drive tour. It was cold enough that the (provided) window squeegees came in very handy. But the real fun was when we got to White Pass and the driver let us out at the top. Some folks had never seen snow - and even though some were not dressed for the cold, they went out and played and threw snowballs until the driver had us get back on for the trip back to the ship. We liked Alaska so much we're booked to do it again the week after this cruise.

  9. We get on the Bliss as you are getting off. This will be our 4th Alaska cruise. Three on the Bliss and one on the Encore. I personally like the Bliss better but both are nearly identical. I will be curious how full the cruise is and who is entertaining in the various bars. Our last trip (Sept 2022) was great overall but the Beatles group had a brand new George who was pretty lacking. We saw the show in the theater but skipped going to the ones in the Cavern Club. Hopefully they will be better on your (and my) cruise. Thank you in advance for doing this review.
