Dailies for NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023
wacruiselover replied to wacruiselover's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Thank you for the kind offer - but I read those when you posted them in the previous cruise thread. I was hoping for ones from the 4/22 sailing but no worries - I'll be on board on Saturday and will take it as it comes. This will be our 4th Bliss / Encore cruise to Alaska and each one is different but wonderful. I expect this one to be no less grand. 😊 -
Dailies for NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023

So sorry that you felt obligated to reply to this thread. I know that you have been doing a wonderful job on reviewing your cruise. But there are a lot of others on the ship who might be able to respond to my request - or not. That is why I started a separate thread. It was not a reflection on you. Also, please do not assume that you know what might be of value to me. I have been following the Bliss Dailies since the trip up to Alaska from California. It helps me get excited for my cruise. -
Dailies for NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023

If using a PC to read the forum, NO. That's why I started this thread. I thought that @graphicguy might be too busy to post them so I was hoping someone else would. I have been following this thread since it started. Just now I went back and reread every post from Page 16, Post 385 on. That's the one where @graphicguy ripped his pants on the plane. No Dailies. Is it just my PC? I'm using Firefox and have never had a problem with reading the Dailies or seeing the pictures. -

General NCL Questions - never been on a NCL cruise

Darn! I guess I'll have to shave, dye my hair, and lose 100 lbs. 🙃 -
@YVRteacher Thank you. I assumed as much. Might be great to have a cast that is fresh and well rehearsed. I also hope that we have lounge performers who are as good as the previous cruises on the Bliss. I should mention that we love your reviews!

Just saw this from @graphicguy on another thread so I hope the new casts and crews are spending time rehearsing:

LIVE ALASKA NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023 Review
wacruiselover replied to graphicguy's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
My bride and I are celebrating our 40th anniversary on the sailing that leaves 4/29. This will be our 4th trip to Alaska. (3 on the Bliss and one on the Encore.) We love the ship and are very familiar with all it has to offer but I have a couple of humble questions and a request: How full is the ship and does it feel full - in other words, long wait for elevators, tables in the buffet, drinks in the bars. Our last cruise was during Covid with about 50% occupancy and a huge crew. How is the Beatles cover band? Last May on the same cruise they had a new George and he was not good. Hoping for a more seasoned group this time. Could someone post the Dailies (starting with Day 1) Thank you in advance and have a wonderful cruise! -

Just a quick note to wish all who are onboard today a wonderful cruise. May you have smooth seas, abundant sun, and minimal rain. My bride of 40 yrs and I are on the Bliss sailing that starts in exactly one week so I will be totally glued to this thread. Thank you, @graphicguy and @ChiefMateJRK for your insightful and humorous posts. Bon Voyage! -
NCL Bliss 1st Alaska sailing from Seattle 2023
wacruiselover replied to Ferry_Watcher's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
How is the Beatles cover band this cruise? We were on the same cruise in May last year and we had to leave because it was so bad. They had a last minute replacement of George and you could tell he was new and scared. Hoping for a better group this time. -

Could anyone upload copies of the dailies when they have a chance? -
Thank you to all who replied. Now I can avoid an hour long call to my TA and not worry about the code. The TA normally never sends me the NCL invoice so this is the first time I have seen the codes. My mind at ease so now I can concentrate on the fun ahead! 😊

I am on the Bliss for the April 29 sailing. I just got a copy of the NCL invoice and one of the promo codes is PPSRVCHG. In the add-on section of the invoice, one of the listed items is 2 x Prepaid Service Charge. Not knowing that this promo was included in my booking, I prepaid $224 on April 1 to lock in the lower DSC price. Did I pay for something that was already included and if so, how do I get a refund? And who will it come from? I paid the $224 on the NCL website but purchased the cruise from a TA.

I can't believe that no one on this sailing is sharing with us. We are on the 4/29 sailing and would love to hear experiences, entertainment on board (is Archie still playing?) and dailies. -
I thought ahead and peeled the labels off of the old pill bottles last time got refills. I attached them (and those from my Bride's prescriptions) on an 8.5 x 11 sheet of card stock. I organize our pills in a pill box and keep the card in my carry on luggage in case there are any questions or I need to get an emergency refill.

LIVE ALASKA NCL BLISS 04-22-2023 to 04-29-2023 Review
wacruiselover replied to graphicguy's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
We did this same itinerary last year. Boarded the last day of April and cruised the first week of May. In Skagway we took the Summit Scenic Drive tour. It was cold enough that the (provided) window squeegees came in very handy. But the real fun was when we got to White Pass and the driver let us out at the top. Some folks had never seen snow - and even though some were not dressed for the cold, they went out and played and threw snowballs until the driver had us get back on for the trip back to the ship. We liked Alaska so much we're booked to do it again the week after this cruise. -

We are on the Bliss leaving the day you get in - April 29. With the online show reservations is it possible to book two nights of the same show? We would like to see Jersey Boys (early showing) twice if possible. -

We get on the Bliss as you are getting off. This will be our 4th Alaska cruise. Three on the Bliss and one on the Encore. I personally like the Bliss better but both are nearly identical. I will be curious how full the cruise is and who is entertaining in the various bars. Our last trip (Sept 2022) was great overall but the Beatles group had a brand new George who was pretty lacking. We saw the show in the theater but skipped going to the ones in the Cavern Club. Hopefully they will be better on your (and my) cruise. Thank you in advance for doing this review. -
Norwegian Prima USB and Power Options
wacruiselover replied to coondogg97's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I always carry a couple of USB fast chargers and use a short (12") extension cord with triple outlet to connect to a single desk outlet.
