  1. Here is the menu link: https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Fleet_Local_All-Day_Mobile-Menu_010123.pdf
  2. Sorry that you might not have seen the 🤪 and recognized that I was pulling your leg. There have been some very long threads on both $2 bills for tipping and people using ZipLoc bags to transport food back to their rooms. Incredible how fervent (heated) some of the discussions get. It is kind of refreshing that the most important things in their life are easily ignored by those of us who just want to cruise and have fun. So my advice is have a wonderful cruise, take unwanted criticism with a grain of salt, and oh... did I say have a wonderful cruise? This April will be our 4th cruise and I have loved every one! I'm sure you will too.
  3. So much to learn before cruising. You can get them from your local US bank. From Wikipedia: The United States two-dollar bill is a current denomination of United States currency. A portrait of Thomas Jefferson, the third president of the United States, is featured on the obverse of the note. The reverse features an engraving of the circa 1818 painting Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull.
  4. You will be just fine. Just make sure you bring a stack of $2 bills for tipping and a stash of ZipLoc bags for the buffet and any leftovers from specialty restaurants. 🤪
  5. From the official Travel Canada website: https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid For all travellers entering Canada by air, land or marine mode: Proof of COVID-19 vaccination is not required Pre-board testing is not required, except: COVID-19 emergency air travel requirements for China, Hong Kong and Macao In effect COVID-19 pre-entry and arrival tests are not required Quarantine after you enter Canada is not required Using ArriveCAN is not required, but to save time at the border, you can use the ArriveCAN customs and immigration feature to complete your declaration in advance if you’re flying into a participating international airport Pre-boarding tests for cruise passengers are not required As always, travel documents are required
  6. @Two Wheels OnlySince you have a wealth of information available, do you happen to know what the bed location is for stateroom 10214 on the Bliss? I've searched and found nothing. Thank you in advance.
  7. @wally4everThank you for the picture. I was hoping for a larger fillet but I understand that Black Sea Bass is a fairly small fish. I guess I'll have to be happy with the Norwegian Salmon or North Atlantic Cod. I like tuna but the Ahi is probably served a little under-cooked for my taste.
  8. Any pictures of the Black Sea Bass? I see that the new menu (https://www.ncl.com/sites/default/files/Fleet_Ocean-Blue_Dinnner_Mobile-Menu_010123.pdf) replaces some of the other fresh selections that were offered on the 2022 menu. Also comments on the Norwegian Salmon and North Atlantic Cod - or pictures would be welcome.
  9. Also of note - if you want to book the same specialty restaurant for more than one day you have to call and have them do it for you. Made 3 reservations on Ocean Blue for our upcoming Alaska cruise in about 10 minutes. Bon appétit!
  10. We always take a bottle of Signature SELECT Coffee Enhancer with us and squirt it into our coffee with the supplied half & half. You can get it in Hazelnut, Caramel, or Vanilla from Safeway if you have one in the area. It's a little bottle so no problem carrying it in your pocket or purse. 11. We used Seattle Cruise Park for our April 30 cruise on the Bliss. For past cruises, we always arranged to have a friend drive us to the pier and then pick us up. This was so much easier and we didn't have to impose on our friends. I had read so many bad reviews about Bell Street Parking that I was afraid to leave our car there. Reviews for Seattle Cruise Park were so much more comforting - and it was $50 less! The parking lot was well secured and the shuttle to Pier 66 was easy both ways. If you call when you have disembarked they will send a shuttle almost immediately. Ours took about 5 minutes. As was mentioned you should print out your reservation for your windshield.
  12. Please forgive some really newbie questions. My Bride and I are cruising on the Bliss to Alaska soon. We have been on the Bliss and Encore before but we have never set foot in the Casino. Last time we gambled was on nickle slots 39 years ago on our honeymoon while waiting for dinner in Reno, NV. Our upcoming cruse package includes "Casino Play: USD 25 promo play applied to guests 1 & 2. Slot machines only." Can someone please share how that works and what kind of slots we should expect? Are they the push button to play or do any of them use the old fashioned pull lever? What range of bets can we play - just $1 and up or are smaller bets allowed? When are we permitted to cash out - do we have to lose all of the $25 or can we play some and get the balance in OBC? We also have "Bingo: USD 39 promo play applied to guests 1 & 2 for 2 sessions; 3 games/session." How many games/sessions will $39 get us? Is Bingo in the Casino also? Thanks in advance for your gentle answers!
