I don't think so, NorthStar's message was perfect and nt condescending in the least. Anytime someone disagrees and wants to shut down the discussion they label it condescending and that's just not right. The "cheerleader" label was most appropriate.
If you get a chance to talk to Senior Management on the ship, tell them exactly what you think and let them know that your good friend Pee won't be sailing with Celebrity anytime soon.
I'll be looking forward to your report. I only have 1 B2B cruise booked this year on Celebrity and nothing in 2024. It's a unique itinerary so I'll probably keep it but I'm not booking any more cruises as long as we have the proposed cost cuts.
I don't think the Captain waits until the red light comes on to get fuel. I'm sure it's much less than a full tank. Perhaps they don't carry a full tank to reduce weight.
I don't think either of us was really serious about the take-out window concept, but I think this could actually be something that would please a lot of passengers and not really cost Celebrity much of anything. There are plenty of days I would like taking my meal and go and sit outside somewhere. I'm ready to call it the Cgolf Window.
It's simple. Celebrity as well as the rest of the Royal Caribbean Group need to improve their products so people accept them as a superior products. Then they can increase prices and start to reduce the debt.
All of the current cuts reflect a management team focused on short term goals and not a long term plan to build the brands.
