On our Zaandam Vancouver to Ro cruise, we had a balcony. Admittedly no Antarctic but we loved our balcony! No regrets.

We were on Sapphire in April/May in Savoy and we sat with an older gentleman who got 5 or 6 lobster tails! He kept asking and he kept getting them! No extra charge! We were blown away!

Hi, I just realized that we have an old HAL cookbook - with the original Bread Pudding recipe! I was thrilled and thought other sailors might be too! They have changed the recipe- but this is the original!

Thanks for the suggestions. My husband has removed the app and reinstalled it. We got an email advising us that we are now Platinum but when we try to book a time (in any time dining) it tells us that only platinum or elite can do this. We were on the Crown Princess in November and had no problem with doing this. It seems like the medallion app issues haven’t gone anywhere. They apparently don’t want our business. This experience is making us run to HAL. Seriously the customer service or lack there of is awful. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.

Hi, we are platinum Cruisers with two cruises booked for 2023. We would like to book a time for dinner in the MDR. The system is very user unfriendly and isn’t working! We need to talk to someone. My husband has already been on hold/ waiting for a call back for two hours. Does anyone have a tip for the best way to contact them - like calling at 6 am or some other suggestion? Thanks!

We have experienced both the old stuff and the new. We cruised South America on Zaandam in 2018 where headliners were a harpist and a harmonica guy. Seriously. Something had to change. Ed Sullivan went off the air decades ago! We have experienced BB King on Oosterdam and Koningsdam. It is loud - but we plan on it. I have ear plugs if needed and we choose our seats carefully. I will continue sailing on HAL and am generally happy with the changes.

A few years ago we did a Panama cruise on Oosterdam. The band in BB King’s had a repertoire of 10 songs. On a 26 day cruise that got old real fast! Recently we were on Koningsdam twice. Great talent and a much bigger repertoire! Much better! They were great. The dance floor was packed frequently.

Hi, quick question. On HAL, dollars spent on ship and excursions add to our cruise stats. This doesn’t appear to happen on Princess. Is it tracked somewhere else that I don’t know about? Thanks

We were on Koningsdam in April and the recipe has been changed for the bread pudding! I tried it twice! Other people were disappointed as well!

We had a vista suite on our Hawaiian cruise on Koningsdam. The size diff between a regular balcony and a vista suite was negligible. We wanted the points to get to 4star. The difference wasn’t worth it! We got a limp flower in a little vase. The flower was never replaced and the only water that the flower got was from us! We won’t do a vista suite again.
