  1. Liars Club and Name that Tune were played on my first Seabourn cruise …. the Legend, in 2002.
  2. Enjoy the rest of your Odyssey cruise. Wishing you a lovely time on Regent. I hope you will post about it. Happy sailing!
  3. I am a Regent convert after sailing many years on Seabourn. The Regent staff do not expect tips and I’ve never seen them hovering. I do mention their names in the mid-cruise comment cards and many times receive a personal thank you from the aforementioned crew. I do not tip anyone but do donate to the crew welfare fund. I hope you enjoy your Regent!
  4. Hello NCCruzQueen, do you happen to know if a bartender named Arnulfo is on board? We sailed with him on Navigator in 2023, then on Grandeur this past May. Would be so happy to see his smiling face upon boarding in NYC on October 23rd.
  5. Their Bistro/Bar (not the restaurant) has the best French onion soup and great martinis!
  6. I agree. We used SunTransfers after disembarking in Barcelona. Would not hesitate to use them again.
  7. Bric’s is an Italian company. I first heard of Bric’s while on my honeymoon in Taormina, Sicily in 1999. My husband bought me a gorgeous bag and I still have it!
  8. We just disembarked from a 16 night cruise on Grandeur. Our stewardess, upon day one introduction, advised us that laundry out before 9am would be returned same evening; out after 9am would be returned the following day. I set the bag out before 9am three times during our cruise and each time it was in our suite at turndown that same day. Absolutely marvelous service!
  9. Gosh, thanks for letting me know. When I went on RSSC.com this afternoon, it showed no classes scheduled. My mistake! It read No Class Selected because I didn’t look at the drop down menu. Hopefully, no odors will find their way to our suite.
  10. I saw that on the “Sticky” for Splendor. There haven’t been any culinary classes scheduled for this cruise, so hopefully our suite will stay quiet. Thank you
  11. Looking forward to it! My DH is a Yankee fan so will look for you
  12. Hi Gpilon, thanks for the info. Off to purchase Bonine for my husband. We both can’t wait for this cruise!
  13. We were booked on the cancelled Mariner May 19th cruise, then waitlisted on the March 25th Grandeur MIA/NYC, which luckily cleared for a GTY concierge suite. As of this morning we have been assigned Suite 1215. I've looked at the sticky Suite Guru but there aren't any reviews. We usually go for lower, midship as my husband experiences motion/sea sickness. I'm fine under almost any circumstances. Anyone have comments about this suite?
  14. Not sure your question is meant for me. I stayed there on a personal trip; not a pre-cruise trip.
  15. Fabulous choice! Better than the Biltmore.
  16. That I don’t know. Concierge GTY. Can’t be bad!
  17. We did clear the waitlist! Sailing March 25!
  18. We will be on Grandeur March 26, MIA/NYC would like to know the crew members as well. Captain, cruise director, GM (hotel), CR, SettiMari. Thank you!
  19. Hi NYC-London, thank you for letting me know. I found out late yesterday that we cleared to waitlist and are now confirmed!
  20. Mariner was our first Regent cruise so we have a soft spot for her. We've sailed Voyager, Navigator, and Explorer (loved Explorer). I'm scrambling to put the new dates in order in hopes that our waitlist clears. I think sailing on the Grandeur will be off the charts!!
  21. PapaFlamingo, I agree with you! I'm very disappointed in the cancelled cruise but understand why the ship is being rerouted. I'm satisfied with the 100% refund. As for the 30% discount on the three offered cruises, none of them interest us. Even though we love Transoceanic cruises, lying to Lisbon to pick up the ship isn't something we want to do at this time. We put ourselves on a waitlist for a much earlier cruise of the same itinerary; March 25th, on the glamorous Grandeur.
  22. I appreciate your insight. I’m keeping my fingers crossed but also realistic about not clearing the waitlist.
  23. My TA has us on a waitlist for a Concierge cabin on the Grandeur March 25th sailing. We are 3rd in line. Have never been on waitlist before. Any chance it may clear?
