  1. I can't find it in the Apple App store. Where can I download it?
  2. Hello! Sailing from Southampton to NYC on Queen Mary 2 in October. My TA told me about "My Voyage" app. Can I download that before I get onto the ship? Please advise. Thanks! Dan in Annapolis
  3. How about this....two men flying from USA to London for a long weekend before going to Southampton for the crossing (18 October) back to the USA. Since we're flying into LHR and taking the Tube to our hotel, plus taking the train from London - Southampton, plus going from Red Hook back to Newark Airport where our car will be, we just want to have carry on luggage (plus backpacks). We will each have dark suits, sports jackets, and acceptable shoes/shirts, etc. We've never done this before. Do you think it all can be done with just carryon luggage?
  4. I have heard from many people that the Wi-Fi on the Queen Mary 2 is awful and not worth the price. I also like the idea of being "off the grid". But the reality is my company might need to contact me when I am at sea. How can they do that if I don't buy a Wi-Fi package? I assume there is no 5G or any type of cellular service on the ship. Telegram? 😉
  5. Greetings from Maryland! We're doing a crossing leaving Southampton on 10/18. There are two formal nights. As we are going to try to get by with just carry-on luggage, we'd like to keep the packing down to a minimum and rent tuxedos on board for the formal nights. There is a thread on this regarding tuxedo rental, but it is quite dated. Is tuxedo rental still available on Queen Mary 2? If so, what might be the costs and how does one go about renting a tux? Thanks!
  6. I'm glad I found this topic. We took a 7 day cruise to Mexico in 2007 and my husband had mal de debarquement that was so bad, he couldn't drive. He did see an ENT specialist and it went away. Flash forward to 2022. We're doing a crossing on the Queen Mary 2 in October. We have a cabin in midships on a lower deck. But besides that, how can we proactively deal with this? Daily motion sickness pills? A wristband? The thing is, in 2007 he was just fine on the ship, it was after we got back to LA, that he got sick. Advice appreciated.
