Yeah, you can pay for drinks and wifi later. I try and get a package that includes the drinks, and then add extras if/where needed.

I don't think that it was the day at sea when we did the same itinerary on Meraviglia.
I'm not going to lie. There's people on here now, doing the same ship and on Facebook groups who have said the same. It may be different, but that's the information I have

I really hope that the day at sea isn't gala night because we disembark in Barcelona the day after. Hopefully the gala night will be the night before the day at sea after leaving Valetta.
Even better should be if the gala night was the night before Naples since we will arrive there after lunch but I understand that won't happen because lots of people will embark that day in Genoa.
It definitely is the day at sea, it was the same for when the ship was in Dubai.
We get off in Barcelona too, so not sure what we are going to do, especially given they will want our suit cases to move.

Ignore this, I thought it meant per cabin, turns out it's per person.
-
Just spoke to our TA, they said they will send it to us 10-14 days before we go.
-
I believe you can change what you want, and request. Will be good to make any requests to the TA/MSC and then when on board, to let them know about your requirements.
-
I believe the day at sea is gala night, which is the stop after Valletta.
I am unsure about the other questions, I'm trying to find the information myself as we go two weeks after you.

If you booked through a Travel agent, then they have to send you the tickets/Boarding pass etc.
The get around that used to work if booked through a TA and the ship you are sailing on uses the MSC for me app, is to down load that to your phone/tablet, Check in, then it allows you to email the documents to yourself.

Yeah, booked through a TA. I have the app but no where on there says about checking in 😞

I had a similar screen with no apparent option to check in and the web check in tab did nothing. However, when I selected email tickets, it did.
Yeah, the button is greyed out and not clickable.

This is how I did a couple days ago and it work for me and my cruise is 30 days away. I just logged into my account (did not use booking number) just user id and password. At the middle of this page it said HOW TO GET MY E-TICKET. there is a section GO INTO WEB CHECKIN then below it - my email address already filled in by MSC and at right of it SEND TO MY EMAIL (just hit it and MSC sent it to my email address). I had tried it several times and it worked each time.
Hope it would work for your site too. I am glad to get this task completed before the cruise even if I have TA.
Good Luck.
I've logged into my account and can't see it at all, tried with booking number too. Email is greyed out with the selection for it, so it's not clickable.

Just booked a few trips for the days we're in port. Struggling with Messina, and what to do.

First time MSC cruises, and we're patiently waiting for a response regarding a potential upgrade on the MSC World Europa.
Have any of you had upgrades, and if so, how were you notified? We travel in 20 days, so would love to find out more information - then I can get even more excited.
Fingers crossed we get the upgrade.

Hi,
I thought I'd put in here, before going to MSC. Usually get a response much quicker here. We have a cruise in 20 days and although all my information has been provided, I can't see any sort of e-ticket that I can access. Here is what I see:
After pressing Go to Web Check-in, it then displays with this, despite me adding a Credit Card on that will be used:
Finally, this is what I see, even though I have filled in everything:
There feels like there's no option to select the passengers to select to web check in, and get sent the e-tickets.
Anyone else had these sort of issues, or any idea how to fix this?

I completely echo your words. It's been fantastic reading and seeing these updates. It's made me really look forward to going on the World Europa, despite the fact it's probably going to be even busier. Your insight and know-how has been brilliant, so thank you.

and that was with 4050 onboard; the ship today is sailing with 6400 onboard).
Oh wow, that's a lot of people on board now. I hope it doesn't feel crowded or anything.

Drink package descriptions for summer 2023 do not exclude coffee in general (just posted them in another thread), but "Lavazza Coffee Shops" - is Coffee Emporium a "Lavazza Coffee Shop"?
I really don't understand why it's so difficult, every few weeks it seems to change. Is it included, are the prices we paid now not valid, do we get to go to speciality places, etc. Seems so strange
-
I am still confused, so places like Coffee Emporium is no longer included in the Premium Drinks Package? Seems a little odd.

Still showing our drinks package on our UK booking on-line
Ours is the same, on the website. Under booking details, it's showing what we have.

Just heard a story from a passenger - will be interested to hear if it’s true.
He was having coffee in the Emporium and a waiter there told him that, when the ship begins its Med sailings, drinks packages will no longer cover the coffees. This is (apparently) because so many Italians - who drink a lot of coffee - are expected to be onboard. What he was told was that only YC guests will be covered.
I really hope this isn't the case, my partner is really looking forward to the iced nutella drink.

We’re currently in Naples. A lovely warm Spring day. Tomorrow, Civitavecchia, then disembarkation in Genoa the following day.A few more days then, phew! Have they changed the menus yet for the main dining room, or are they still the same? I imagine the resupply will be much more European goods now.
-
According to Cruise Mapper, it's saying you're in Genoa now. Is this where you get off, if so, I'm going to be bored not knowing what you're getting up too! 😞

It might be in your emails, rather than account

Had no problem having alcohol yesterday. Didn’t you see our stocked mini-bar - several beers and 2 bottles of Prosecco?I did indeed, I just thought that wouldn't last you the whole day/night

What have you all decided to do on the days at port, we've got a couple of things booked, but feel the time isn't much in Naples, so struggling to see if we can do Pompeii on our own

A 7 night cruise on this ship is not going to be enough - especially in the Med, which is usually port intensive, and some things aren’t open while in port, so you can’t even avail of the quieter ship to get to do stuff. Plus, several embarkation ports throughout the cruise, meaning venues can be closed for the muster drill in the afternoons.
As to the no alcohol situation - we have a couple of bottles of bubbly and some beer to tide us over for the afternoon. 😵💫🤪
Yeah, I think we're going to have to stick around on the boat and get another week included, just to be on the safe side 😄
Alcohol situation, at least you are stocked up, that's all I can say

I'm from the UK, so anything above 10 degrees is warm enough for shorts for me. We are also cruising at the beginning of May. It's about 20 degrees in the places we will visit.
