Yes we were on Iona last Christmas, Britannia in September and came off Ventura on Thursday. On each ship our cruise cards were waiting outside our cabins in the post box so I think this is the new way. We're on Azura at Christmas and have been given an upgrade too as have the friends we're travelling with.

Thanks hopefully it was something and nothing! We're going with friends we met on Arcadia in 2016 on her last leg of her round the world tour. Ventura was our 1st ship and holds a special place in my heart! (Mind you they all do!). Thanks again.

Hi, is anyone on here currently on Ventura? Just heard she's stuck in Tenerife with technical issues??? We're due on her on Saturday.

We were on Iona at Christmas in a balcony cabin. Our friends were in a Seaview cabin 4507 and had a lovely window seat (although their bed was alongside the wardrobes.) We absolutely loved Iona and thought she was stunning. We were just so happy to be back on a cruise ship after having 7 cruises cancelled !! Hope this is helpful, enjoy your cruise. Thank you, that's really helpful to know 👍 As I mentioned in my opening post on this thread, our forthcoming Baltic cruise on Britannia will be our 1st to this part of the world. We are really excited about it all and the scheduled itinerary but I'm treating it as a mystery cruise and will just wait and see where we end up each day!! Thanks again. Julie

Thanks Dermotsgirl, I'm assuming you are referring to book face 😉 I'm not on it 👍 We should have been on this cruise but moved it to Britannia when our Poppy Patterdale sitter let us down. Our friends are on this one and were on her when she restarted a few weeks ago and they ended up in Kirkwall instead of Norway!! We've done Med cruises, Canaries and Caribbean ones so really looking forward to seeing the Baltic although I hope we don't get the high winds!!

Anyone know why Arcadia appears to have done an about turn just before Visby where she was due today? (Apart from operational reasons 🤣) We are due in to Visby on Britannia in September but there are still no excursions available to book on the planner. This will be our 1st Baltic cruise so really looking forward to it. Julie

Although we only have 6 booked atm, but watch this space 🤣🤣 I'm also looking at doing a Cunard TA 👍 As I mentioned elsewhere we should have been on Arcadia now but rebooked for Britannia in September as we were let down by our Poppy Patterdale sitter just before balance payment date so were very grateful to be able to move it and actually saved quite a bit in the process so happy days 👍

Yes we were booked on this cruise too but got let down by our dog sitter just before balance payment date so moved it to Britannia in September. Friends of ours are on it and missing us already although no where near as much as we wish we were on board! A certain Poppy Patterdale doesn't know or care bless her!!! 💕

Megabear my heart goes out to you it really does, I missed your original post on Saturday but have now read everything you have posted both on here and on the PC site. It's an absolutely appalling way to have been treated. Yes mistakes happen in life, we are all only human after all but Ive always said and believed its how those mistakes are then handled that makes all the difference. It's ironic that you should find yourself in this position after all your amazing work with the various insurance companies a few months ago. I was in awe of you. I hope your aunt recovers and as has been previously said on here take time for yourself too, you've been and are continuing to go through the most dreadful ordeal which as Waju has just said we all hope we never find ourselves in. My thoughts are with you, your aunt and the rest of her family. Please take care x

Yes I'm assuming so as that is what they normally book 👍 They were originally booked on Aurora in June but transferred the booking to Arcadia when Aurora was cancelled.

Hope everyone can follow my above post, I'm not great at technology (much better at cruising!! ) Anyway this is a summary of the information I got from my friends who are currently on board. She did go on to say that the fellow passengers are lovely as are the crew and she is just happy to be away!! Will post further updates as and when I receive them.

Yes this is a real cruise, I have friends on board although they haven't got WiFi until they go ashore so I'm relying on updates on here and the cruise tracker sites to see where they are! This was the planned itinerary. Due back into Southampton on the 19th.
