Getting the same what?
This same amount perks no matter how long of a cruise you are on. So someone that is cruising for 7 days and someone that is cruising for 10, 15 16 21 days or more still have the same perks.

We haven't decided yet on whether we will purchase the plus package, but I just wanted to see how all of you feel about the two packages. The thing that I don't feel is equal is that no matter how long your cruise is you still pay the same amount and for a longer cruise you get the same selections. We will be on a 16 day cruise paying for the plus package for 16 days but getting the same as a 7 day cruise.

Well here is why I hadn't heard from Princess about my Stock Credit! I first emailed all the correct info to Princess. Immediately I received an automated email stating because they were very busy it could take at least 21 days. I waited and no response, Then I decided that I would fax. Still no response! Yesterday I decided to give Princess a call at Princess Cruises Booking support number. Within 20 minutes I had my Stock Credit. Here is what I did wrong. When I first emailed them. the info, instead of this address sbpcl@princesscruises.com I sent it to sbpcl@princess.com. The Princess rep also told me that as of September 1 Princess has discontinued the Fax service for stock so that's why when I faxed the info I did not get a reply. I hope this info helps all of you who haven't received your stock credit.

Take a deep breath. I will not defend the customer service reps (who are often near worthless) as that is a negative with many cruise lines. But I can give you some advice on how to easily handle the Shareholder Credit without much heartburn. Simply send an e-mail requesting the credit and include your names, Princess booking number, and what you are requesting (i.e. $250 Shareholder credit). If you have a Princess Captain's Circle number also include it. Attach a copy of the proof that you own 100 shares of stock (such as a brokerage statement) to the e-mail (if you need to scan this and have no scanner you can always have it done at a UPS store).
E-mail the request to sbpel@Princesscruises.com, Immediately make a hard copy of this entire transaction (e-mail with all the attachments) and make sure to take it along on your cruise. Once on the ship, if you do not see that credit (it should be on your onboard account) pick a quiet time (I like early in the morning or late at night) and visit the Guest Relations Desk with the copy of your request. They will usually take care of this within a couple of days.

Thanks but I have already sent it in and received an automated email saying it might take a few weeks to get my credit!!! That was 2 weeks ago. People have posted here that they received their notice within 15 minutes

I would not expect a general Princess representative to be able to handle either of those questions.
Shareholders credit response to email is generally very fast. If it's been a couple of weeks, I recommend resending the information. One potential issue: Is the person who requested the shareholder OBC a veteran who is already getting veteran OBC? If so, you cannot also get shareholder OBC. However if the other person in the cabin is not a veteran, that person can get shareholder OBC.
Information on how to set up a meet & greet is in the thread How To Set Up a Meet & Greet on Board Princess Ships locked on the top of the Princess forum.
Thanks for your info I have submitted the Shareholder info three times. And I did use this How To Set Up a Meet & Greet on Board Princess Ships locked on the top of the Princess forum. The only response I received was that she was busy and would get back to me and that was over two weks ago

I contacted Princess's chat line tonight to find out if they knew anything about why I hadn't received my stock credit. Well, after 30 minutes of back and forth with the rep giving her the info she asked for, she connected me to another rep who then asked me for all the same info I had just given the first rep. Finally, she said I should contact the Shareholders and gave me their email, the same email that I sent my stockholder's info to.
In between all of this, I asked if they knew who I could get in contact with to organize a Meet n Greet. They had no idea of what I was talking about.
Princess needs to educate these representatives.

This is the response that I received when I emailed Princess my stock info on September 12
Thank you for submitting your request for Carnival Corporation Shareholder Benefits. Due to current high volumes, please allow up to 21 days for processing. You will receive a confirmation once the benefit has been applied to your booking.

We screwed up last year on NCL Pride of America stop at Kona. We thought we could just walk about and enjoy but not so. Spent a lot of time walking and not seeing anything interesting. Next time in 2024 we intend to structure something more definite to enjoy the day. We like beach days and want to hang on a beautiful beach. Loved Kona but didn’t organize properly.
So glad you posted this. That's just what I thought we would do, as we have excursions on our 3 stops before Kona in November Now I'll be looking for suggestions!

We are staying at the RUI in Fishermann's Warf. Not sure how we are getting there but it will probably be Uber.

I've been cruising 15 years. I used to read these boards obsessively and steadfastly avoid rooms above/below public areas, near service areas, too close to elevators, too close to stairs, etc.
5 years ago we got stuck directly below the pool bar which is 1) open late, 2) loud, 3) they powerwash it at oh-dark-thirty in the morning.
Never heard a peep, the whole cruise. Not the music, not talking, not with the balcony open, not in port, not at sea, not at midnight, not at 5am.
I stopped worrying about noise and in the 5 years since I book wherever, and I've had no issues.
We usually like to book close to the laundromat and one time our cabin was right across from it. I can say we never heard any noise from the door slamming!

We just booked the Crown Princess to Hawaii last week. We will be in Honolulu on Veterans Day and I would think Pearl Harbour would be having special services commemorating the day! One of the Princess tours we wanted to take is already booked. We would like suggestions on what Pearl Harbour tours any of you have taken, as long as they have good ratings it doesn't have to be with Princess. Thanks

There is a round trip cruise out of Seattle to Hawaii on Carnival that I’m interested in but I know very little about the cruise line. I’ve studied Celebrity, as we have an Alaskan cruise coming up with them. How do they compare? The ship is the carnival spirit which seems to be an older ship although it says it was redone in 2018. I will post this on the Celebrity section as well.

Would like to know how many of you book your cruise with a Travel Agent or book with the Cruise Line? And do you shop for a Travel Agent for the best price etc or always use the same TA? Do you have any tips as to how to get the best price?

Hi, I would really like to take this cruise but I'm having a hard time convincing my husband to cruise out of New York. I have checked the flights, where to stay, and the cruise port, and everything looks good. Please give me all of the positives of taking this cruise. Thanks

MSC Seascape sails from Miami. Perhaps you're cruising on MSC Meraviglia, which cruises from Brooklyn?
If you're cruising from Brooklyn LGA is the closest airport to the port, but you can also fly into JFK or EWR. You need to check airfares and flight schedules. If you're coming in the day before the cruise I'd suggest you consider staying in Manhattan rather than Brooklyn, for a better variety of sightseeing, restaurants and hotel choices. If you stay in lower Manhattan, in the Wall Street/Financial District area, it's very easy to get to the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal on embarkation day by taking a ferry from Pier 11 on the East River across to Brooklyn. The ferry drops you literally a few steps from the cruise terminal.
New York City has hundreds of hotels in a large range of prices so your budget and the area where you want to stay are key information for recommending hotels.

Cabin Across from Laundry Room Noise ?

We have had that cabin on two cruises and had no problem with noise. It's convenient if you plan on doing your laundry.
