Hamilton unfortunately had terrible seats for legroom, really enjoyed Back to the Future, fun show and was able to get great seats with half price tkts , excellent legroom.

The secret for Hamilton is to get the boxes.  Cheap, close, and unlimited legroom.  The problem is that they only sell them at the box office so they can clearly explain to you that the view is partially obstructed.   We used to buy them there on our former frequent NYC visits for a following trip to the city and were never disappointed

We will arrive in Boston for the day of the Pride Festival. We were planning to call a ride share to get to the Constitution and later back to the port from the North end. Will we have any trouble getting an uber ? TIA

Where are you coming from?  The airport?  Cruise Terminal?  Elsewhere?

The parade is in the Back Bay/Copley area of Boston, so much of the city won't be affected by the pageantry.

Thanks i may just stay at comfort inn and suites as it has the best reviews and no complaints about the shuttle. My flight comes in at 10:30 so want to make sure it doesn't take too long. Looks like uber will cost 7-10 to revere beach station and i'm ok with that. I'm assuming uber would take suitcases when taking passengers from airport hotels.

    Uber takes suitcases

Are you familiar with the courtyard boston airport. Its a 13 min walk from wood island but i thought someone said the area isn't good.

The Garden Inn is slightly better located, on a side street, not the highway, but I consider them to be 'sister hotels' as they are adjacent.

With the Terminals being on 12th Avenue - West Side Highway and the street are quite lengthy.

Candy Stores and Mini Superette are not located till about 8 - 9 Avenue and very few on 10th Avenue.

11th Avenue in that vicinity are main Big Automobile Dealerships and some parks.

See my "Defines walking distance" caveat.  We have walked to the piers from Times Square more times than I can count

Has anyone stayed at comfort inn and suites airport? Its also in revere but gets great 4.5 reviews. The hampton in is supposed to have a shuttle to subway station. I’m checking out if comfort inn has that as well. I’ve heard a number of recommendations for hilton garden inn which is walking distance to blueline but more expensive. FYI if you are going oct 5, 6, 7 apparently there is 3 conventions in town that makes it worse.

It is a generic hotel in a not very attractive area (next to an Amazon warehouse) with not much nearby.  It is just a 15-20 minute walk to Revere Beach, which is one of the country's oldest public beaches.  I'd look into the nearby Springhill Suites which is right across from the beach and adjacent to the subway

You are a wealth of information! I wanted to stay at the Holiday Inn but it's booked. I'll check the comfort Inn. I think I also saw one that was reasonable, the Manhattan at Times Square. Are you familiar with that one?

With the fare plus the fees and tolls and tip, expect the total to be right around $100.  A bit less if the driver doesn't help with the bags, a bit more if it is warranted

Thats ok i read its 90 minutes. I'm actually wondering as a canadian how interested i will be in this stuff.

90 minutes would be if you walked it for exercise. 4-6 hours is a better estimate if you are actually going to look at all the historic sites along the route.

If you just want a walk, I'd suggest the Charles River Esplanade or Castle Island

Not a ship tour which is why I am wondering about arrival time vs. actual disembarkation time.

Have you asked the excursion company what their experience is?  I bet they do this every week and know how long it takes

  10. It does sound like a full day.  What is the all day tour you are taking?  Are you certain it will get you back in time for your flight?   With no active volcanos there isn't much current demand for helicopter flights, but that's your choice.

It's about a 10-15 ride from Eagle airfield to Sky Lagoon, I'd check with the copter company to see if there are taxis there.  Or maybe they can just drop you at the Lagoon?  🙂

We are looking into departing from South America to cruise to Antarctica. A couple of questions we need help with.

1: Which South American departure port is best?

2:Which cruise line will let you land and walk on the continent?  We understand that weather and other things may factor into the decision but after spending so much to get there we'd like to increase our chances if possible. We don't need luxury just a ship that's functional and safe.

    Thank you in advance!!

    1) Which one is best depends on if you have a personal preference, but it mostly depends on which ship/itinerary you are traveling.  I am not familiar with anyone who chose their Antarctica trip based on the departure port

    2) Any of the smaller ships will let you land and walk on the continent.  It is extremely rare that all land excursions will be canceled.  So none of the majors like Princess, NCL, Royal, Celebrity, etc, will have landings scheduled.  Those cruises are much less expensive as they are just Sail Bys
