@vince_g do we have to sign up for this offer, or does it automatically trigger.

I would be concerned about toilet flushing. I am fairly confident that the back wall of the RR shares a wall with your cabin. And, if it’s a Ladies RR the stalls are probably along that wall. There may be extra sound barrier, but I sure wouldn’t want to hear swoosh all day/night.

Oh wow. Thanks for the update. We will be cruising on Nov 9…but I’ve put a couple notes on our itinerary so I don’t miss it.

Wow, expensive to take your kids on NCL !

That’s how they make it Adult Only. 🤣 -
Thanks…I actually have a $2500 final payment due the first week of January…so paying early for the points will work.

Help me understand. Just got the NCL card and have triggered the bonus. Also just qualified for BOA preferred rewards at 50%. On a NCL spend of $1000 will I get 1000+2000 WPs and a BOA bonus of 500? On the Nov 9 day, what would my bonus look like on that same NCL spend of $1000. thanks for the heads up, too.

Thoughts about Prima (Oct 1-13, 2023)
laudergayle replied to danny6514's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I agree the layout overlooking the atrium is definitely nicer than the Prima. I was just pointing out that it was only the bar adjacent to the walkway, and our cruise it was not an issue to walk through. -

The Local/O’Sheehans is adjacent to main walking areas on all NCL ships. The only place the walkway through the Local Bar goes to is Indulge. There is the Local bar on one side of the walkway and soft seating on the other side. The actual Local dining area is an entirely separate restaurant (info for other readers as you already know this). Indulge is accessible from the Local as well as the port, aft and starboard outdoor areas. Personally we didn’t find the flow to be an issue…even in cold windy weather. Now for the wear-worthiness of the ship. I agree with others that Prima will see dry dock for major refurbishment sooner than it probably should. -
Live-ish Norwegian Bliss October 14-21st Alaska 2023

Good morning! Today’s the day. Hoping you also get to experience the Annularity Ring of Fire. Seattle should get an 80% view. Be sure to check out windy.com for wave conditions. Looks like the seas might be a bit rough, so be prepared. wishing you and AC a fabulous cruise experience. Bon Voyage. -
You know, I had never heard of or used Zofran. Last January an ER doc prescribed it to me for a gastro issue. I never did take it…wasn’t needed. Fast forward several months, and by happenstance I threw it into our cruise med bag. OMG what a godsend when hubby and I got norovirus on that cruise. Now…we also don’t travel without. thanks for your stories…you have such an inviting way of writing.

I believe eliminating Spa cabins was wise. Separating cabin from service allows the cabin pricing to be dynamic based on occupancy demand. The Spa Service is now available to more who desire that access, and can also have its own pricing based on demand. That and it allowed NCL to market Solo balcony cabins…which seems to be a strong demographic for them.

Please don’t apologize. I read that this was your 50th anniversary and knew it was meant to be very special. And now knowing about your wife’s breast cancer recovery makes the experience even more important to you both. Unfortunately so much of the elegant, “spoil you” magic of cruising pre-pandemic has been lost. I can certainly understand your disappointment. Bless you both for many many more years of togetherness. Hugs my friend.
