  1. In October we sailed the Breakaway. In Taste MDR I ordered a bottle of Moët at Breakfast and some OJ. I made my own mimosa and took the rest of the bottle—which was mostly full, back to our cabin. Two tips. Ask them to save the wire cage so you can transport your bottle back to your cabin, and…pack a champagne stopper so you can seal you bottle in the cabin. We did this twice! Loved having a bottle in the mini fridge.
  2. We were on the 10/16 sailing for Breakaway. The drummer for SIX was incredible. She was also the drummer for Burn the Floor and performed in Howl at the Moon. Went by differ names. Katie at Howl, Sarah at Burn and Annie at SIX. Sorry you missed her and hope she is well.
  3. Any chance we would see any whales the first week on our cruise from LA to Cabo, MZ and PV? If so, which port has the greatest probability? Thanks!
  4. I noticed today that the $500 cruise first carts are back!
  5. 73 Epic Southern Caribbean, 156 Prima Bermuda…and just booked today for my birthday (yay), 345 days on Bliss to Mexico (Baja). 2020 = 0 cruises 2021 = 1 cruise 2022. = 2 cruises 2023 = 3 cruises /scheduled 2024 = ???? whatcha think??? I know what I’m thinking…😃
  6. Of course…if I wanted it. I was simply confirming that some cruises and not others are offering the FASUP.
  7. My cruise on Epic in February no longer shows the FAS+ upgrade option. It is still an option on our Prima sailing in May. Interesting!
  8. So, besides the OP, does anyone actually have knowledge or have experienced the “No Mixed Shots” policy?
  9. Beautiful sea creatures…BUT Oh My…another reason to just get my feet wet. I was already afraid of stingrays and sharks..now this. Lol.
  10. Actually the price was good IMO. Mock booking with 10% coupon for two in Club Balcony before travel protection was $2600. Unfortunately we’re sailing on April 30 and can’t swing two so close together.
  11. I have not sailed Prima (doing so in May ‘23). Did sail Jade, sister ship to Jewel. IMO, if you’re under 45…Prima. So much more to engage your interests.
  12. Thank you for your review. I realize it was off topic. I’ve seen so many negative reviews on space and entertainment so I really appreciate your very positive review.
  13. Recognize you were reviewing food on Prima. But a few other questions. Where/when did you sail? Do you know occupancy of your cruise? How did you like your onboard experience from an entertainment perspective? Did you do Price Is Right? Games in the atrium? Was the comedy available in main theater vs Improve. Were you in Haven. TIA
  14. Yes, us too. But the hours of MDR breakfast are not as conducive to those who drink more and party late. Posting for a friend…ha.
  15. Tip…get your coffee or juice then head to the back for a table by the windows. The two-tops turn over pretty quickly. Once you are seated…get the attention of the bus staff and let them know not to clear your table as you’re going for food. I also sometimes tell the people sitting next to me. I’ve found they are usually most helpful in making sure no one clears/takes your table. Of course, know what you want and don’t dilly dally around the buffet. We also get a second plate and use it as a cover to help our food stay warm and not exposed to the crowd. Even though we wash our hands upon entry, we also use a wipe or sanitizer before eating as you have just touched a lot of serving utensils (personal preference). enjoy😊
  16. My reservation number did not change but I went from LATITUDE to LATDBLX.
  17. We were able to get the extra point, as well. Several days ago our PCC was able to get us a price reduction. I thought it was $160 but it was $130 due to the change in the daily bev charge. But still…a savings! Today she did whatever she needed to do to get us the extra Latitude point per night…yay!
  18. You can do a $300 CruiseFirst cert for $150 which would be your deposit.
  19. If you open up the US Latitudes offers page, it fits show 1 extra point for 2023 sailings (total of 2 for non Haven and 3 for Suites snd Haven). However, if you go to the bottom of that offer page and click Terms & Conditions and scroll to the bottom, you will see where it Two Extra Latitude points on select cruises for a limited time.
  20. The Bridge Viewing Room should be low traffic, but thank you for pointing it’s location relative to those forward cabins. When we booked 12017 I wanted to be able to look out and down, not over the lifeboats.
  21. The YouTube helped. I agree that it doesn’t look like there is any space between balconies. I was hoping it wasn’t housekeeping. They start a lot earlier than we do..lol. Thanks all.
  22. Can someone tell me what this white space represents on the Epic deck plan?
  23. The menu does look limited for longer cruises if you’re going down the list in the order presented. To make this new menu work more effectively you will probably need to think outside the box of traditional dining — more freestyle. Instead of ordering a starter, then soup/salad then entree, you can get creative…something like this: I’d like to start with the California roll and the cobia crudo. For my entree, please bring me a dinner size portion of the Asian spare ribs with a side of jasmine rice and steamed vegetables. Or another meal might be, I would like to start with sweet potato fries with a side of ranch. For my entree please bring me the caeser salad and meatballs with marinara. Please be sure the salad and meatballs are delivered together as an entree. Several of the lunch items would work well on the Dinner menu. For instance, all of the soups and starters, as well as the the entree salads. Seems as though it would be easy to add these to the dinner menu and possibly be more cost-effective in the long run. I do believe they need to expand the dessert menu. Possibly just bringing a tray of todays desserts from which to choose…could help eliminate waste. Maybe one night the OMG butterscotch cheesecake from Cagneys (yum) would make it to the tray. We sail Prima to Bermuda in May for 7 days, and I’ll have no problem finding enough food to enjoy onboard. My scale will confirm it upon returning home…lol.
  24. I had a similar experience today with an excursion. Log into your reservation and click the payment option. See if the amount due is outstanding. As soon as I added our credit card info again, it was accepted and shortly thereafter I got email confirmation. My cc was only charged once.
