  1. Heads up on OnPoint testing. We have tests scheduled for Canada entry in mid-October, which we may not need. However when I went to their website to see about changing appts to a Bermuda cruise next spring, the test appointments now say Out of Stock. Perhaps they are gearing down due to potential Canadian change.
  2. Thanks for the update. 16 cabins a day till sail date would fill her, but heck, anything >85% occupancy will likely feel the same. So now I will turn my attention to…hurricanes, hurricanes blowing the leaves off the trees before we arrive…oh yeah, and ArriveCAN or not. JK…I’m really not that neurotic!
  3. We have appointments for October cruise…but maybe no one will be there to proctor…if that’s the case…Amex dispute may be warranted. I was just hoping to change October time to April. Also, we have sooo many unopened, unexpired tests it seemed to make sense. Oh well…si la vie.
  4. Actually we rarely cruised pre-pandemic…mostly international travel by air, so I don’t have a reference point. But we’re patient so lines will be fine.
  5. Interesting. So, I ordered and paid for two virtual tests from OnPoint Testing. I was going to reschedule our October tests for Canada and reschedule for Bermuda…however, their calendar function is not available and appointments are now listed as Out of Stock. I assume they’re reacting to this potential change. To me it is worth $38 to not test. Now if Bermuda will lift their test requirements….hope.
  6. Just conjecture on my part…maybe mentally preparing for worst case scenario. Lol. Regardless, there are some good tips here and a little reassurance that a full ship is just fine for many.
  7. I was looking at additional cruises for 2023 and it appears that the FAS drink gratuity is now $21.80 pp, pd. They raised the retail value from $99 to $109 pp, pd. This change happened after 8/15/2022. I wonder if they will raise the drink maximum from $15 to $16?
  8. Thanks…it’s good to hear your thoughts after being on a near full ship. I am expecting the worst and will be grateful for everything better.
  9. We have cruised twice since restart, first was around 38% occupancy and it felt like a ghost ship. Second was around 50% occupied and that was a nice amount of people. We are on The Breakaway mid-October for NE/Canada…and it looks like it is near capacity. For those of you who sailed recently on a full ship…any tips, tricks, thoughts. We don’t have Lattitude status and are in a club balcony.
