Well leave it to cruise critics for me to get the answers . I called my personal cruise consultant and asked how come there were no round trip cruises leaving New York in January. Explain there’s some in December and of course the ones in February. And he couldn’t answer. So now that I know I’ll be checking out RCCL out of Bayonne. The funny thing is I switch things up with different lines I left out of Baltimore this year , next year I’m leaving out of Florida and I had decided I was just gonna leave out of New York going forward. Guess not 🤓

Well thank you everyone for your opinions and advise ,sorry I scanned the site and didn’t see anything about this type of topic And again I did something I typically don’t do is I bought insurance ahead of time so if I cancel or rebook I’ll loose that.So thanks ropomo for putting into perspective for me I appreciate it 😎 still planning on going and having a great time

I’m new to Viking and I get different companies do things different BUT I booked my January 2025 ocean cruise in February 2023, I book early so it gives me time to pay it off . I was very surprised when it said final payment was due December 2023 . I even called to see if it was typo now I checked during the course of the time to see if the price went down before my final payment nothing . Until January 1st the price dropped by $600, I called and of course since it was past the final payment there was nothing I could do . Considering the cruise was still over a year out they could have offered something like a non refundable cruise credit anything . So needless to say this will probably be my one and only Viking cruise . And warning to others don’t book your cruises to early

Yeah, unfortunately their idea of an invoice just basically gives you the breakdown of what you paid for the cruise. It doesn’t show what money was sent or the payments I’ve check my credit card statements and unfortunately it actually comes out less than what they’ve said I paid, so I guess I should leave well enough alone.

This is very weird I have a cruise receipt from July for my cruise in January on the Vision that says my balance due was $239 so I went to pay the final balance and it’s now $528.when I called to ask what happened I was informed that I had received a refund Credit to my reservation and they removed it and applied it to my credit card . No one can explain what the refund was for or why it didn’t go back on to the credit card that was used. And when I asked for an audit of the reservation I got no where. Any body got any suggestions On how I can get information on this , I booked directly thru Royal and don’t seem to have a personal cruise consultant

I’ve got another question on smaller ships like these does location matter ? I know price wise lower decks are cheaper but cabin size seems to be all the same unless you’re in a suite or above . I would think the front of the ship you might feel the movement a little more 🤷🏻‍♀️

I hoping to get a code or something I tried some that I had seen on another board but they didn't work i think because its so far out. But I called for a brochure because the Rep said there would be an offer in there. So I see that they say there is a mini bar in the cabins and that it refilled daily what does that consist of? Currently they are offering beer and wine with lunch and dinner so how much would a beverage package be? I like an evening cocktail and maybe a frozen drink once and a while . I’ve never cruises Viking before but I’m love the itinerary on a January 2025 Western Caribbean sailing . But was wondering what is it really like on such a small boat . After just returning from vacation with over 4000 on a ship under 1000 sounds really relaxing. And was just wondering if anyone solos have cruised with them . Any input would be greatly appreciated

I’m going on the Getaway in January my final payment was in September and the price keeps dropping. I did call and the issued me a Future cruise certificate for the difference that day but it went down again $2800 for 12 day cruise in a club balcony is insane
