I remember the casitas and thought they were a great idea. . How do you reserve them?

We don't even get off the ship in Cape Canaveral or Nassau. Been there, done that. We stay onboard and enjoy the less crowded ship. We cruise for the cruising, not the ports.

I recall getting the email but I can't find it now. When do the gratuity costs go up?

I’m getting offers for package deals for our fall cruise which stops at CocoCay. I understand there’s an upscale area that you pay a premium for, but if you just want to hang on the beach or by the pool do you need to pay for chairs/lounges with umbrellas?
