  1. That's my wife's favorite drink on NCL. Except when she occasionally switches it up and gets a Peach Meltdown.
  2. At this point, in between drinks start drinking some water to fight that hangover that's coming. 😜
  3. I saw the title and was going to say Old Fashioned, damn it! Oh well...Bombay Sapphire Gin and Tonic.
  4. I don't. A collared shirt and khakis with some Skechers if we're eating in Le Bistro. Any other restaurant, a Hawaiian shirt and shorts (or jeans if it's a cold-weather cruise).
  5. Just like the booze in Vegas as you place bet after bet after bet. 1st person: "I got free drinks all night!" 2nd person: "Yeah, but you lost $1750." 1st person: "Dude, did you not hear me? FREE DRINKS!!!" ðŸĪŠðŸ™‚ NOTE FROM LAWYER: This post in no way casts aspersions on gamblers, gambling systems, comp players, people who don't understand those things, or people who do and still think it's not worth it to gamble. It was meant as a humorous post and was not intended to start a gambling conversation. Any such CC members who may take it in a way that is was not intended will be referred to other threads that have been hijacked by such conversations, and may continue such hijacking there. We now return you to our regular bid acceptance discussion. Whew! I think I narrowly dodged a bullet there!
  6. I believe they take bids in the case of cancellations.
  7. You can, whenever you want. The booze is just a perk for getting the big suites. "Oh, you spent enough to buy a car for this suite? Well, we're going to give you not one, not two, but THREE 750ml bottles of mid-tier liquor. Enjoy!" 😜
  8. Please report back on that. We're going out of Port Canaveral for the first time next year.
  9. It's fine for me, not for my wife. She always brings little refillable travel-size bottles of her own stuff.
  10. I love a good lobster roll so I might have to give that a try on the Getaway in January.
  11. Well said. A $50 tip to the cabin steward is maybe enough for a cheap date night to an American. To some folks, though, that's enough to feed their family for several weeks.
  12. Seconded. We did POA once and would never do it again. It was the worst onboard experience we've had with NCL. If we go back to Hawaii we'll plan the trip ourselves and hit the islands/areas we want to see again.
  13. Had a cruise cancelled back in January and we had no problem getting excursion refunds. For OP: we just booked a cruise for Dec 2023 and there are excursions listed already. From my experience, ports that NCL is always going to have excursions available pretty much as early as the cruise is available to be booked.
  14. Yes, you can do that. But you can also book it ahead of time. Every single cruise we book both our FAS dining AND our Latitudes dining ahead of time, online. On the rare occasion we have trouble doing it online we call our PCC and they take care of it for us.
  15. 3.1 drinks per day over nine days? Well, I suppose I could cut back to that. ðŸĪŠ
  16. Not at all. Book online or call...or wait until you get on board
  17. Four. That includes a couple we we were eating next to and chatting with one time who managed to bring it up in a conversation that had nothing to do with Latitudes levels, number of cruises taken, or anything remotely requiring it to be brought up. I guess they thought we'd genuflect before them or kiss their rings or something. 🙄 We're Sapphire, too, and will probably hit Diamond but no further. By that time we'd probably have done all the itineraries that interest us and will move on to other vacation activities, probably something like hitting all the national parks in America.
  18. I only go to see how many Ambassador-level people are there, then try and calculate the total days at sea they have at a minimum. Oh, and to drink rum punch and eat cheese.
  19. There are apparently a few very poorly trained folks working customer service at NCL. I've been lucky enough not to encounter them, but lots of people on CC including you, now, have.
  20. What Keith said. Book online or call...or wait until you get on board.
  21. Our cruise on the Escape back in January was cancelled just under three weeks before sailing, IIRC. It was because of spiking Covid rates.
