We had two specialty dinners booked already, and planned to pay the difference for our favorite cocktail (peach tea smash $22) multiple times daily. When we did the math, it ended up being very inexpensive to upgrade to Premier with that money considered already spent. Now we are planning on talking multiple stretch labs, eating lots of gelato (I LOVE gelato!) and playing Princess Prizes at our door. Oh, and better wines at dinner too. Super excited!

I’m curious about the package included fitness classes! What times do they tend to be held? (I am not a morning person). Do they fill up quickly? Did you enjoy them? I have fibromyalgia and always flare with changes in routine, so vacations are challenging! The stretch class sounds like it might be really beneficial!

I will be on the Encore for their final Alaska sailing October 16-23 this month. The ship doesn’t seem to be very full at all. I really want to buy a day pass for the thermal spa on the first sea day. I realize day passes are normally only available on port day. What are the odds they might be selling day passes for this sea day? Absolute no? Anyone ever scored a day pass on a sea day? Thanks for your input!

Please let me know if your skills locate days 5 and 6 of recent Encore dailies. So far I have failed.

No, I’m not familiar with that. Thanks, other cruise lines I’ve sailed have more-or-less the same activities week to week on the same itinerary/same ship. Some specifics might change, like rotating performers, but generally dance class at eight on day two and culinary demo at ten on day four would be the same week to week. That’s a lot of effort to keep things changing.

And really, that’s quite a lot of effort to go through just to come off as a superior daffodil.
