I have had a Carnival Mastercard for about 5 years. As others have posted, there are other options that give better cash back or points. Personally I use a cash back card from my local bank for almost everything except carnival trips.
One good thing about the Carnival card is they increased my limit much faster than other cards, which helps your credit when you don't use it.

For those of us who fly, Port Canaveral is much more difficult to get to than Miami or Fort Lauderdale. We tried it one time, and said never again!:o

I was in 7451 on the Liberty so can't really comment on the deck 6 experience...but these cabins all seem to be in high demand. I absolutely loved just sitting on the extended balcony watching the wake. The only drawback was it tended to be a bit warmer than other cabins during the day, but this was in July.
There was definitely some extreme vibration (even violent shaking!) when going in and out of port, but when out to sea it was calm. There was also occasional soot and/or trash in the morning that blew from the above decks, but the steward always cleaned it on his morning shift.
I hope someone can give you more information about the noise for deck 6, maybe it isn't that bad ;)

I just sent ours in on Monday to guestadmin@carnival.com. I received confirmation this morning that they applied the credit. Checked our docs to be sure and it is there.
Thanks!:)

Does anyone have the current email address for sending proof of stock ownership? I have just sent it to my PVP in the past, but she left and this time I booked straight through the website.
Thanks:)

True, "the guy" is part of the system though. He is actually doing a job and the drivers are not supposed to take passengers without his direction. Get used to pulling out small bills, this wont be the only person expecting a tip pre-cruise :D

Not exactly the time you may be expecting, but Carnival used to have morning specials where screwdrivers, mimosas, and bloody marys were $1 off. Not sure if that is still around, though, seems like the drink prices have gone up over the last year.

How about 19.4 percent. If 19.4 percent does not jump out at you, congratulations, you should sail Crystal.
What?

Great review, can you say anything about your cabin?
Looking forward to more!:D

I have found that the weather / sea conditions and the use (or non-use) of the stabilizers makes much more of a difference than the cabin position. Having said that, I have experienced the least movement while in an aft cabin.
Have you tried the sea-bands? DW swears by them...

Have you considered a regular outside cabin? Cheaper than a balcony, but you still get to see the ocean.
Personally i could not do an inside (too claustrophobic) but can live with just a window:)

It is past time to replace the Fantasy with another ship out of Charleston. I would be happy if they changed it to one of the "Frankenstein Balcony" Fantasy varieties like Fascination :)

It reminded me of Killian's Red when I had it on the Freedom last July.

Call it "quack medicine" if you wish, but DW swears by sea-bands. They are little wrist bands with a small plastic piece that works by putting pressure on the pressure points in your wrist. She says they are never uncomfortable, either. It is an alternative to try if you dont want to be medicated. :)
