  1. Yep. And Harmony doesn't have it because it hasn't been amplified yet. It has the original Sabor, which I'm very glad of. Symphony and Wonder have Playmakers 😒. I can't remember about Allure, though. When I was on Allure, it had Sabor but don't know if it as been amplified.
  2. I don't keep much alcohol around the house. But, I do have a gallon of Kraken Rum, for me and my wife has a couple bottles of Malibu. We're good. Oh, I forgot the large bottle of Jägermeister (for medicinal purposes, of course) and Butterscotch schnapps. Reminds me, I need to get a bottle of Ouzo. I absolutely love beer but I don't stock it in the house. I'd drink it and get fatter!
  3. That's great. We have friends that live in Jville and neither are in very good shape physically. I sure hope they are doing good. I'm sure they are, they have lots of family around that actually care. We will get in touch with them in a day or two. Don't want to be a bother to them, yet!
  4. Yep, that can happen, for sure. For that reason and others (mostly to keep the expense burden from my family), I purchased, years ago, a pre-pay cremation and transportation (from anywhere in the world) policy for a couple of thousand $. I (and my wife) never have to worry about our remains making it home from anywhere in the world and my kids have no worries either.
  5. LOL, when it was first mentioned of the Supply Chain issues a couple years ago, I went to Sam's and purchased cases of Spam, Beef Stew, Oatmeal, Chili, Vegies, and so on. In Anniston/Oxford, AL, we don't get many Hurricanes going by. But, in circa 1993, when I was in the Army and Stationed at Ft. McClellan, just a few miles north of where I am now, we had a record breaking Snow Storm/Blizzard that was totally unexpected. I just wish I had a stock pile like I do now. BTW, I never let my stock of bottled water get below 3 - 45 bottle cases (now reduced to 40 🤬 for the same price as 45 at Sam's), paper towels and toilet paper are also well stocked.
  6. I don't find Trip Insurance very helpful or needed for Domestic Travel. When we travel, for the most part, within the U.S. and/or Canada, we only book hotels that allow you to cancel outside of the last 24 hours before arrival. I'm totally covered medically. What else is there, maybe tickets to a baseball game that were purchased in advance? This is not intended to be a disagreement with the reasoning for or against purchasing Domestic Trip/Travel Insurance. It's probably a cry out for more information.
  7. I didn't even know that there was a CFAR offered in Trip/Travel Insurance. Thanks, now you've given me something else to research 🤨😁
  8. My limited experience with the fine details of travel insurance prohibits me from a lot of advice here. However, I do believe it to be prudent to make sure you have Emergency Medical Insurance and Emergency Evacuation Insurance. If you are on Medicare (some private health insurance companies, too), it doesn't cover you while in a foreign country. It's possible if you have a supplement, it may, like Tricare does. Those are the things that I suggest all Cruisers research and purchase accordingly. Me personally, I am more concerned of those major expenditures/emergencies that can happen in foreign ports or even on a ship when you are too far away to be evacuated to a U.S. Port by the C.G. or the ship diverting into a U.S. Port.
  9. Tell them, "Welcome to ", for me. As a kid growing up, my parents and their best friends would alternate whose home to sit through the hurricane in. They always turned it into a very entertaining party. The friend was the owner of a plumbing business in Dania and he'd always have the lead melting pots during a hurricane, we'd eat like kings/queens, breakfast, lunch, and diner. Our homes were well built and we had hurricane shutter that we put down during a hurricane. Plenty of food and water for weeks. We had few worries. So, for me, hurricanes were always something to look forward to, a party, except for the preparations and clean-up afterwards.
  10. I'll give you credit for one thing, you have a very vivid imagination. Oh, and I'll eat any where I think the venue meets my very exacting standards. Next, I think I'll go to, maybe an A&W or better yet, a 7-11 or Waffle House.
  11. ....... talking/debating/opposing each other's opinions (and I wouldn't have it any other way), and talking about our upcoming cruise, past cruises, and things we'd love to do on a cruise, I just want us all to not forget about the folks in Central Florida up to N.E. FLA tonight and for the next few days to weeks. Give 'em a thought or prayer (if that's your thing) and maybe volunteer your time and/or money. I've experienced many Hurricanes growing up in S. Florida, it ain't fun!
  12. The Fjords of Norway, Norway is a beautiful country. I was there in the 80's, in Bardufoss (sp?) on a NATO exercise. I was in charge of a security unit and we'd would go west to the Fjords. We didn't get up close, we'd go to the mountain tops overlooking the Fjords, not unlike the picture above except in the middle of the winter, in support of a fictional navel movement going through the Fjords. I had a hard time keeping my eye on the prize, I'd be looking around the beauty of the Fjords and country side. I'd love to go back and actually cruise through the very very very beautiful Fjords, in the summer.
  13. It works for me! Edited in: Full disclosure, I'm a retired from Active U.S. Army duty Military Policeman.
  14. I do want to congratulate you on only having 539 posts in almost 10 years. You must have a life! No 💩
  15. We are talking about RCCL's IT department, though! 🤪
  16. It's all about personal choices and options! I bet you still enjoy your 93% though. Hamburgers, for the most part, only have good and gooder. No wrong answer!
  17. Well, there you go, the lemonade was "house made". Ain't that just ducky! 🙄
  18. My take from this discussion, ask the TA, large, small, or big box, if an urgent situation arises at 2:00 AM on a Sunday morning, will he/she or someone from the TA answer the phone. As stated, my usual TA (the A is for agency, not agent as you never speak to the same agent unless you get his/her extension #) is a big box TA and answer the phone 24/7. I've never had an urgent situation so I don't know how competent or willing they are at handling urgent situations. But, I've asked and they say they are a full service TA at any time of the day or night.
  19. While I believe you will enjoy the cruise and all it's offerings, it's still way to subjective to say if you will like this, that, or the other thing. It's way tooooooo personal. Welcome to the wonderful world of Royal Caribbean and I really do think/hope you enjoy it. I've never been on a Celebrity ship. But, I've read mixed reviews of them, mostly positive, though. You'll find the same with Royal. Again, it's very subjective.
  20. 😄 Got it covered. I'll even clean off my monitor screen from all those cough splatters. 🤮. I don't wear a mask while at home!
  21. LOL, I just glanced or didn't look at all at the OP's Avatar and I read Virginia. My bad, disregard that comment. Sorry! Bend my dog tags and take away my birthday.
  22. I believe @rudeney's intent was about passing laws where there are already laws to cover certain action(s). Like originally stated, there was/is a law already that covers distracted driving (it was made a law long before cellphones/texting), no need for a texting/cellphone law. Also, I believe you meant to type "LEFT" lane, right. The legislatures that made up and passed the cellphone/texting laws just made themselves feel good. If anything they could have just made the cellphone/texting laws an enhancement to the existing laws.
