  1. Again, no argument. But, how much money are they willing to spend to get to that cheaper supplier? I fully understand you may not have the answer(s). Just my inquisitive mind, as flawed as it may be, at work. Makes me wonder if Starlink is subsidizing this install process, heavily.
  2. Come to think of it, in a post, in this thread or another, I believe I said that I had the Bazillion Steakhouse on the Symphony. It must have been on the Allure if it is ONLY and has only been on the Allure. Except for the Radiance, I guess. All these ships are melting/molding into one in this old mind of mine. Disclaimer: The above post is a correction of mine, of something I said. I am not correcting anything anybody else may or may not have said or corrected. There is no nefarious intentions implies or presented.
  3. I've only been on one cruise that I didn't have kids knocking on my cabin door and run. That was my Ovation cruise last May. We were in the Star Loft Suite at the vary aft of the ship in a closed off (a glass door, not locked in any way, in fact propped open most of the time. Just a psychological barrier) suite section. I don't know if that really had anything to do with it or if there just wasn't many kids on the cruise. Maybe a little of both. BTW, I did catch a young girl (maybe 10 - 12 years old and I just happened to be leaving the cabin when she knocked, poor timing on her part) and see looked very very worried. I just laughed and told her to run farther and faster next time. Boy O Boy, she looked happy and amused. As a young kid, I used to do the same in hotels.
  4. LOL because it is hilariously so typical. Keep you like a mushroom, keep you in the dark and feed you ^@!*.
  5. That's a shame. But, it is what it is. Thanks for the appropriate answer.
  6. Serious question, no nefarious intent, I don't know enough about this stuff to have any nefarious intent: Isn't the end goal for RCCL's installation of Starlink to make the internet bigger, better and faster? Don't we know, the general public, what speed they are trying to achieve or are they just trying to get to the "fastest at sea"? I would hate to think they are spending all that money to remain stagnant with 2013 speed or pre-Starlink speeds.
  7. Once again, I'll say, because it was lost in the giggle weeds, I sure hope that the Brazilin Stackhouse option is back or will come back on the Harmony by Jan 2024. Disclaimer: This is my desire, it doesn't reflect on or make mandatory anybody else's desires. There is absolutely no nefarious intent or content within this post on this social media discussion board, it is just part of the discussion.
  8. I always drop off my luggage at the terminal along with other members of my party to stay with the luggage. And the RCCL terminal is very easy to access the luggage drop-off locations, that's my experience. This makes it much easier and faster to hop on the shuttle for me, it doesn't necessarily make the shuttle ride any faster, though. But, you are very very close to the terminal(s), anyway. EDITED IN: Just to clarify, if you want to keep your party with you when you go to the Park N Go lot (which can be fun as there are wild monkeys, sometime, to see sitting on top of the security fencing wanting to be feed but don't do it) you can give your luggage to the porters at the terminal and be done with it or take them with you to the parking lot, it's up to you. NOTE: If you are traveling Star Class, do not give your luggage to the PORT's porters. If you drop off your luggage at the terminal, do not give your luggage to the PORT's porters. Wait until you contact your Genie and he/she, or designated representative, will meet you outside of the terminal and have a SHIP's crew member take your luggage from curbside, process it through security, without you, and deliver it straight to your suite. Make sure you TIP that crew member in advance because you won't see him/her after they take your luggage from you outside the terminal.
  9. Social Media Discussion Board. And my post was an effort to help. I should have known. But, I'll keep on keep'in on.
  10. Ohhhhhhh, I'd love to do that repositioning sailing. Just not on the Radiance.
  11. Once again, NOTHING was altered. And if you want to be lazy and uninformed, then don't enlighten yourself by looking around. I really thought this board was better than this. Like I said, I like to keep my cool and don't attack or character assassinate anybody. It's hard though. And I can't believe it is allowed.
  12. If you are talking about Coco Cay, I'm with ya. If I happen to book a cruise with just my wife and I and we go go Coco Cay, I'm on the ship. Labadee is much preferred for many reasons, one of which is Barefoot Beach. DISCLAIMER: This is my opinion, my desires. It is not meant to cast aspersions on Coco Cay or anyone that likes Coco Cay. It's just not for me/us!
  13. See what? What's the answer/alternative? Not post in the social media discussion forum? Never quote/cut&paste/whatever? Have you ever posted a link to what is or should be an authoritative document? I think I have a recent post about issues with conflicting or outdated information in supposedly authoritative pages/sites/documents. So, if you know that happens, which you agreed with above, why would you resort to character assassination?
  14. I totally agree. But, it is the only reference one can find if one doesn't have the app on the phone. Which I delete between cruises. AND, something as innocuous as posting a picture of a menu should not lead to this level of character assignation as some have shown.
  15. I don't care how old the menu is that I posted, it is CURRENTLY what Royal Caribbean is showing on their website as an example of their menu in Solarium Bistro and, again, that is what I posted. And originally, my one and only post with the menus posted, I didn't say/type a word of my own. DAMN
  16. First, I'm not taking sides, I just happen to like and provide as factual information as I can. My proof is: Just go to royalcaribbean.com, click SHIPS, then select HARMONY, then THINGS TO DO, then Solarium Bistro, then scroll down a little (that's on the right side) and select SEE THE MENU. That is all from memory and may not be exact. Note the water mark on the pasted menu. If you do all of that, it's today's date.
  17. That's because that's where the Points and Plugs are!
  18. And some wouldn't use all of them, not many, I admit that. Win win for Royal

  20. You nailed it. I was born at night but not last night!
  21. I don't doubt a word of this, not one bit. But, my problem with this is, "why do the same bugs keep coming back, over and over again, year after year. Something is broken or not fixed in the first place when the same issue keep popping up over and over again, year after year. BTW, this isn't just a problem with RCCL, Rustbucket Cruise Lines has it's share of issues, too. Makes me wonder if they are asking their equipment to do much more than originally designed to do and/or maybe they don't have the latest and greatest equipment. I understand keeping up with all the latest and greatest in the IT field can be expensive. But, they are paying >$1.5 billion for a boat, each, or several of 'em. So, that makes me somewhat a skeptic of their complete competency and/or the decision making abilities of upper level management. As usual, I could be way off base. But, that's just my opinion. Reminds me about one of the professions that I retired from, an Electric Utility Coop. We used the same tower PCs for several years, the windows version was no longer supported by MS, the proprietary software that ran almost all of the coops systems, including customer service, outage management and on and on, updated often. Bottom line, we eventually had to come in to work a half hour earlier just to boot up the computers. I've since retired and the employees now have laptops as a lot of the employees were required to work form home during the COVID debacle, as in-person customer service was suspended.
