In think we will still go, I was just a bit shocked at the email yesterday. It will be a nice day seeing beautiful scenery if nothing else. We see whales most years in Mexico....but we had a excursion credit to use and I thought this would be good. Thanks everyone for sharing your thoughts.

Booked to Alaska in early May. I booked whale watching in Juneau. A small boat with max 20/people. I knew it was early in the season but there was a guarantee to see whales or you get some cash back. I received an email today from the cruiseline that the operator no longer guarantees whale sightings in May or Sept. Thinking I should cancel, but wondering what others would do. Thank you.

Silly question, but are slippers in Neptune suite one size? I have tiny feet and hotel slippers are usually huge on me, wondering if I need to take my own 🙂 Thank you.

Booked on the May 5 Noordam to Alaska. Was poking around just seeing what cabins are avail. I was surprised how many empty cabins there still are.....is this typical?

Are guarantee cabin assignments completely random or do they consider any factors? I am not sure if anyone has a way of knowing this. Mostly just my curious mind working 🙂

Problem solved....I think it is just too early. I had put an earlier cruise on hold and then decided to let it go....the dinner reservations available tag was left over from that cruise. I logged out of the app and back in. Seems things are correct for my booked sailing now.

I am trying yo reserve specialty dinning since we have a credit to use. It finally says reservations avail, but when I go in and select our names and click " use complimentary dinning" there are no days.... They are all grey. .I guess I can email the Lady at Holland America who help with my reservation. Thanks all.

Can you make dinner reservations before final payment has been made? I am trying and there is no avail coming up for any restaurant's and it just came avail to book.

Recently booked a cruise with Have It All....what happens if we do not use the shore excursion credit. Can the credit be applied to two different excursions....or if what you book is less than $100 do you lose the remained of the credit. Thanks for any help, I usually just book the basic fare.

I did not return them but did fill out a comment card.The staff did steer us away from fish dishes twice. It was everything from breakfast to an unset creme brulee....which the waiter did switch as he could seen it was not right.I did not want to complain all the time and honestly should not have to. Eventually learned to have an omelet, even with only cheese to get edible eggs and ate more of the really delicious bread before dinner.
