I just find it so interesting that Princess' private island doesn't have its own port and passengers have to be tendered in. I mean it's their own island! So weird to me.
Thank you everyone. I appreciate your responses. I use a scooter that breaks into three pieces so it can go in the trunk of a car, bus etc. Right now the room I have booked on our next cruise is handicap accessible balcony room. We booked one on our last cruise and I'll never book another kind of room again. It was wonderful. My question was me wondering if there's more that Princess offers that I'm missing. I know I can have special boarding. I read somewhere on CC that the Princess employees seat the disabled in a special seating section for the shows. So I was just wondering if there's anything else. I am also looking for a private driver who might take us around the DR. Does anyone know where I can start looking?
Thanks..Haha..maybe that's how I'll feel too but I doubt it. If you have your luggage taken off by the porters, does the
Thanks for this. If you have porters take your luggage, there's no hurry to have to claim it at the port correct?
I'm curious.....how long can you stay on the ship before disembarking? Our flight leaves late in the day and I'm in no hurry to jump off the ship. Can you have a relaxing breakfast before leaving?
Is there a way I can message you privately? I would like to exchange information about scooter mobility since that is what I use to get around as well.
Thank you so much for this. We'll be on Symphony soon, boarding Feb. 25th with my husband, 2 adult kids and their spouses. First family trip, and first cruise ever for my in-laws. So excited.
I just purchased the last Chill Island Full Day Beach Bed which holds up to 4 people (it's now sold out). There are 6 adults so we'll trade off. I'm disabled and I just needed a place where I could lay down if wanted and even nap. It was pricey but I think it's well worth it. Now I can relax and not worry about where I'm going to station myself once I'm there. We've never been to Coco Cay before so I'm kind of going into this blind, but
I feel good about it.
