We are considering a cruise with the HIA package. Part of this package is an OBC of $150. Do you know of this $ 150 is per person or per cabin? Tried to call the HAL but did not succeed in contacting anyone.

We used laundry during our two weeks B2B cruise to Norway. They do not accept laundry later than 48 hours before the debarkation. In our case, because of B2B, 48 hours timelimit the first and the second week. Absolutely no problem for is but good to know.

We are looking at this particular cruise with the Zuiderdam also ajcathy. Good to read that you like the seadays. We will probably stay 7-10 days in Florida prior to the cruise. If you are considering staying in the Netherlands (or other countries in Europe) please feel free to ask for advice.

Guess we have to do with a ‘one-wat’ TA Albingirl. Second best😉.

Thanks Mary. I have looked at rental cars and noticed that prices (compared to European car rentals) are pretty high. But I realise that public transportation in Florida is not really an option.

We recently have retired and one of our dreams was to do a transatlantic crossing. We live in the Netherlands and the idea is to fly to Florida next year, stay there for a week or so and then board the Zuiderdam in Fort Lauderdale in may. Any thoughts or suggestions regarding this ittenary? Secondly we were wondering what the CC members who have done a TA did like most about this trip? Looking forward to your response!
