Cool Cruiser

Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. Just curious as carnival and ncl have comedy clubs on their ships. Is there some reason Royal doesn't?
  2. I was on this sailing and i agree 100% about everything you said. That Wheel of Fortune was brutal to watch 😫. I wish they had more karaoke. The atrium games were kinda fun to watch.
  3. I was on this cruise with my 7 year old daughter. That noodle bar wait was insane! Like they just opened up 15 minutes ago at 5pm and yet the wait was until 930. That's really sad about the person who died! Thoughts and prayers to their family.
  4. You could just have them miss the days and bring some work they can do. I know we've been taught "can't miss school" but the way these prices are!
  5. My daughter and i have been cruising together for the last few years. We've sailed rc and carnival; this was our first with ncl on the getaway over spring break out of NYC. I don't think i would sail again with NCL. 1. Even though we got a balcony room (for the first time), it felt really narrow. I thought it would be roomier than an inside but it didn't feel like it. 2. There were no kids channels on the tv. On RC, they have at least 2. For the late night before my daughter goes to sleep, she sometimes watches TV. 3. The kids club was closed on port days. On carnival and RC, they are open. It's nice to explore the port on my own and knowing my daughter is in good hands. That being said, I did enjoy the meals in the specialty dining. My daughter did enjoy herself; she loves vacations and making new friends.
  6. I missed this announcement! Glad I read it on here
  7. A little unrelated to your question but with the prices the way they are... I might start taking vacations during school time with my 7 year old. It's considerably less!
  8. I'm coming from Philly too! Same time and everything. I figured it would be crazy at 3pm!
  9. Hi. Is the $7 shuttle cash only or do they take credit cards?
  10. Yea. I bought the bags on Amazon for the wine. In the past, the room steward has been great with keeping ice in the ice bucket.
  11. I was just thinking.... What happens if you pay for the unlimited dining plan/7 night plan... But none of the restaurants have any openings or unable to be booked?
  12. That's the other thing. I would bring a carry on (a smaller one) just for the wine. And then have to carry it around but I'm arriving pretty late so it wouldn't be for too long... I still have about 2 weeks to decide
  13. I dont have a beverage package. I usually bring wine or just get 1-2 drinks the entire cruise.
  14. I didn't plan on doing the udp... I'm still deciding on what to do. I did manage to look at the wine list
  15. I was planning to bring wine in my carry on but I'm thinking with the corkage fee plus what i paid for the bottle, is it easier to just buy bottles on board? Im a sparkling wine drinker.
