Hello, this is Marcus and Kathi and we are joining the cruise as well! First time leaving from New York and we are turning Platinum on this cruise. So, we are really excited!

We did the same trip last year on the Pride and experience it now through your stories again. It was one of the best cruise itinaries we ever had. So much to do and see there. Enjoy it!

Yes, the shuttle is mandatory and we left at the port gate to explore the city on our own. We later took the Hop on Hop off bus which was really good as well. It takes you to areas of Muscat that are further away. Enjoy Muscat, it‘ beautiful!

We have been there in February. It takes some time to get off the ship, but it was nit that long. You leave the ship, enter the port building and then you need to take a shuttle to the gate. For us it took maybe 20 minutes to be at the port gate, so it was really okay.

We have not yet taken this tour, but plan to take it during our cruise in April. I contacted Julian over the web form and he answered within a couple of hours. It will be 150$ for the two of us (total) for a three hour customized private sightseeing tour. I’ll post a review once we have done the tour. So far, communication has been working well with him.
