  1. Respect your opinion. How much is it worth? Do we start a "Royal Upgrade for Chairs"? 🤣🤣
  2. OMG! Do not encourage such thoughts or ideas. You must be a RCI stockholder! 😬
  3. Must be associated with RCI's super, high-quality, almost got it right, IT department. 🤣
  4. Yes, Mounty Python and the Holy Grail have made indelible marks on our hearts and minds. I shall get you a most beautiful shrub. 😁
  5. With Cruise Critic, all threads become one. There are no "wrong threads". 😁 What a tangled web we thread as it is weaved into one.
  6. The old sailor ditty,"Who hid the halibut in the Poop Deck?" Right there with you..... 😬
  7. Yeah, I am starting to get "Bummed Out" by this conversation. 🤣
  8. So you saying, "They all look the same at the end of a long day." And then, "I need a cruise to get away from these .......holes!" Got it! 😁
  9. Dare I say it? "It depends on the a$$h.le " 🤣
  10. You got it! ""We are being flooded with negative cashflow below the waterline with its associated 'Free Cash Effect' which has led to instability of the ship's financial condition. We will be acquiring additional shoring of the ship's financial structures by asking all aboard to buy an Unlimited Drink Package and Unlimited Dining Package before setting sail. After all, our stockholders are the reason we stay afloat. We thank you for your continued support."
  11. "We are being flooded with negative cashflow below the waterline and will need additional shoring of the ship's financial structures by all aboard before we set to sea."
  12. If you have not cruised in a while, it is shocking. Many of the cruise lines want to have "The lowest per person cabin fare" for advertising purposes. RCI is one of them. Caveat: That fare is based on double occupancy. Taxes and port taxes are additional which can easily run at least $160 per person to include children. Alcohol drinks are not included. Soda is not included, etc. Specialty restaurants are not included. Gratuities not included. When "Kids Sail Free", you will need to pay for a higher category cabin which will costs more (to accommodate three or four in a room). Gratuities are based on cabin occupancy, so children are not free of gratuities. Not all on-board activities are included with basic fare. I enjoy cruising and I do not need more than my wife's company and a cabin to enjoy. I think it would be very expensive to bring my children and grandson with us as they would like to drink more than we do and be more active on and off the ship. It is quite a bit to think about when planning expenses for a family vacation onboard.
  13. Last summer was very unusual because many cruisers delayed booking until the "C" word restrictions were lifted. Trips to Bermuda were still being affected until about December. I booked my three cruises during that time with "C" restrictions still in effect (2023 cruises) and they have all doubled or more before being sold out this year. I think we will be holding our breath for a long time before there are any price declines in 2023 and even to the end of 3rd quarter 2024.
  14. Count yourself lucky that you do not own a doghouse. 😬
  15. It is becoming quite obvious that the solution to "Chair Hogging" has not been unanimously agreed upon nor has it been conquered. No need to look for other pet-peeves or problems to be listed at this point. "We need a bigger boat." (JAWS) 😬
  16. Big difference, you paid for the seat and are entitled to "Hog It." In fact, you are licensed to "Hog It." I pity the poor person trying to take "your seat" on "your Hog"! You just might go "Hog Wild" on them and rightly so. 😬🤣
  17. Still waiting for confirmation that the "Chair Hog" issue has been solved. One miracle at a time. 😯
  18. When in doubt, randomly accuse a Pinnacle wearing a nametag of anything, anything at all, make it up if you have to. It is always easy to hide behind a computer screen and make things up. 🤥
  19. I emphasized your last line. @Biker19 commented earlier, we are talking about RCI IT. They have a hard enough time trying to get information synchronized across their websites. 🤣
  20. I thought my making youthful elevator pushbutton perpetrators sit in the Diamond Lounge during "Happy Hour" was cruel. You are taking it to a whole new level. My hat is off to you. 😬🤣
  21. Gotta laugh with that comment. I responded to a different thread months ago about how "The Yoots" (My Cousin Vinny), play the boomboxes and drive their cars like they are just looking to get attention and realized I had become the "Old Fart" who was yelling at me forty years ago! 😅🤣😉🤣
  22. Interesting opinion: I booked all three of my cruises this year before any notice of menu and cabin service changes. I have booked one cruise in November 2024 for our anniversary because I got a very good balcony deal through my TA. My booking any more cruises for 2024 will depend on my experiences this year. My Oasis MDR meals in 'September were disappointing, I am hoping it was a one off. The Windjammer food was very acceptable at that time. I am trying to tamp down my expectations and keep an open mind.
  23. Yes, we are the underworld cruisers hiding in interior deck three cabins, the steerage, hoping to ascend the C&A Society of the upper elites. We are always happy to venture forth onto the Lido deck and watch the sunrise appear on a new cruise day. We are on the bow, waiting for the theme song of the "Titanic" to be sung by Celine Dion. 😁 Be afraid, be very afraid of being stuck on a ship with my DW and I on an "Around the World Cruise in Eighty Days." 🤣😂😉🤣
