We too were on the Star over Christmas and New Years and while docked at Mahogany Bay we walked down the path to the beach and there was no charge to do so. The walk down the pathway was beautiful!

We love snorkeling as well. Last big trip we did we rented a 2 bedroom villa in Grace Bay, Turks & Caicos for two full weeks. Snorkeling Smiths Reef was right outside the villa. Giant Turtles, Eagle Rays, Barracuda, Parrot Fish and a whole host of bright tropical fish. It was wonderful. We actually had signed up for the Belize snorkel excursion, but Mindy was thinking about how well they would disinfect the gear and cancelled it. I told her we could take our own mask and snorkel and use their fins, but she was more keen on not.

Does anyone have any reports on the Bamboo Rafting on the Great River in Jamaica?

Thanks for the replies folks, My Viking TA informed me not to have a flight before 11:00am so I went to the Delta sight and changed my flight to later in the day. It worked out nicely too because I was able to change to a non stop flight that didn't show when I originally booked. Cheers, -Gaz

Hi folks, I thought of a question for those of you that have ended a Viking cruise in Fort Lauderdale; We have a 9:30am flight the day we disembark.Originally our flight was 10:16am but Delta changed it to 9:30am. Will we have any issue getting off the ship and to the FLL airport in time? Thanks in advance -Gaz
