    I don’t think they allow you to do it on your own. When we were there in 2018 they told us that it was accessible only by licensed tour companies because of safety concerns. When we did it I got sucked under one of the waterfalls and the professional swimmers had to pull me out. They require helmets and life vests. It’s not for a non swimmer.

    The falls definitely will take 3-4 hours. We did it and it was a 5 hour excursion but that also included a lunch. That is definitely recommended. My husband wants to go again.

    We are going to St Thomas 2nd week in October on the NCL Getaway. We are lucky to only have our ship in port that day. We always like to try out the local fare. What is a good place to eat?!
