We did go around Christmas but it was on the zuiderdam.

That's funny. The last HAL cruise I went on was crowded with 20 somethings. Almost to the point of irritating.

Being a mother, I can think of a ton of reasons. The first being they couldn't find someone they trusted to watch them.

Absolutely! We did a music and wine themed cruise a few years ago, I think there were 2 kids. I love the music themed cruises. Way too much fun!

We just finished a HAL cruise and it was FULL of kids and 20 somethings! I was shocked! Not a waterslide in site yet here are all these children.
