Floridababa, try GoOpti transportation company, they do private and shared service. The reviews seem good, I was think of using them on a shared shuttle, would cost 50 euro.

I was wondering the same thing, might find some reviews on trustpilot website or tripadvisor.

Probably will not start according to EU website until 2024, and then probably 6 month grace period for the entry data bank to be enacted.

Depending on when You travel and when it is implemented. There will probably be a six month grace period, although everyone should check the new requirements for Your passport which includes extra pages for etias stamping

I know from Civitavecchia Train station to Trastevere Train station there is a 1 hour train ride, that is direct. Problematic would be getting to the train station as I heard the taxis do not want to drive the short distance. I think it is a 30 minute walk.

Thanks to all for Your helpful insight. I have never been to Rome so not very familiar with the city layout. We are staying at Relais Le Clarisse, on Via Cardinale a Trastevere Merry del Val 20, Rome. For Cruisingsince1982 You could google it, I usually look at suggestions and reviews. I know Trastevere is a closer area to the Vatican, as Cruisemom42 mentioned. Regards to all!
