@Sthrngary Thank you for this great resource. I confess to "only" having read the first 20 pages and last 20 pages but I feel like I have a pretty great picture of what to expect on our first Haven cruise coming up on Escape April 24 ! We are newbies to cruising as this is only our 2nd which we booked immediately after our first because we loved it so much.We recognized the value in Haven during our first cruise so I promised DW I would consider booking it for our next one but the prices for Haven were over twice as much as the club balcony that we booked. Over the year that followed, the price consistently dropped to the point where I could upgrade for not a lot more than I originally paid. This would already have been the trip of a lifetime for us so The Haven will be icing on the cake ! Thanks again, and thank you to everybody who took the time to answer questions and express opinions both positive and negative.

Ship - Escape Deck - 8 Stateroom # - 8762 Stateroom Category – Balcony Starboard or Port Side - Starboard Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Extremely quiet. Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - Yes Balcony View - There was a crane directly below us but didn't obstruct the view much. Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal Was wind a problem? - No If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - Any specific problems with this cabin? - USB port on the right side of the bed was broken. Any other comments? - We found this room to be very quiet, had lots of space and a very good location being close to bars and restaurants. It is very close to District Brewhouse so I was concerned about noise, but the only noise we heard was one of our neighbours constantly letting their door slam loudly.
