Hi there, I am currently booked on the Spirit for January 2024 Auckland to Sydney. We have noticed now that we are 200 days out that there are no excursions posted. My PCC was very concerned about this trip being cancelled as I had another trip already cancelled for Alaska to Hawaii on the Spirit for 2025. He suggested I call Shore Excursions- when I did the answer I received was what we were expecting. The woman I spoke to told me many have been calling for this ships final sailings and nothing is posted. I asked if she has seen this before and what was the reason. She hesitated and told me either the itinerary changes or… the ship was cancelled. I feel as if NCL needs to be transparent about this as many people have long term plans for this trip or booked their own flights. Is anyone on a 2024 Spirit cruise that is “happening” as of right now- and do you have excursions?

Sorry if I left this out- I thought every one knew. Spirit will be cancelled after April 2024 through the end of 2025 due to being rented to a chartering company based out of Taiwan.

There have been so many changes- my gut says the Australia cruising season will be given to the Getaway. The spirit will relocate to Taiwan after Alaska is done and all of her sailings will be cancelled

I have a cruise for January 28th-February 9th in Australia. No excursions have been posted and no updates from the cruise line

There’s been rumors the Getaway will be replacing the Spirit in Australia. That deleted itinerary lines up with Australias cruising season…

For the spirit cancellation we got a 10% on any cruise and a 20% on spirit sailings. I saw another 10 sailings get deleted and a few price drops added today. Hope they’re working on stuff!!!

My TA who has been with NCL for 10 years didn’t know my cruises were being cancelled until I got the email… insane!!

Last time I saw cruises disappear from the site- they were cancelled. I’d hold off on booking fights.

Do you need to be a certain latitudes rewards level for this?

I don’t remember- it’s been a bit since it was cancelled though. Received my CruiseFirst Coupon back. Interestingly enough- my Australia one is still wonky on the app and my Europe cruise was just changed and they have not changed it on the app or the website yet! Luckily it was changed for the better..

Crazy because they have already altered this sailing! They also still have not dispersed coupons for my cancellations. Crazy! I absolutely will follow up!!! cheers!

Thank you!! It does but I’m still nervous. We picked a back up voyage for my birthday on the viva if anything happens. This is the only itinerary acting like this on my account. Fingers crossed it’s okay!

I was super interested in the Australia to Bali one- was looking to book it in the future. Hopefully something similar comes back

I can’t see the booking anymore on my app- however there was only one 🙄 a kayaking trip that was 300 or so we had just received our hotels so I thought we were in the clear

I’m heart broken- this would be my 2nd one cancelled and I heard the Sky might also cancel all sailings. the Australia cruise is for my birthday- the first time I’ve ever really tried to plan something special for myself for my birthday. I received a cancellation for the Alaska Hawaii cruise and just booked 2 separate sailings. Pride of America and Jade. But there’s not another NCL ship that does Australia in 2024…

Totally understand! I don’t mind them but my partner despised them. We prefer to be off the boat or looking at scenery!

I’m so excited I already had my reservation set- I believe we are going on one of the last Australia sailings on the Spirit. planned on calling my consultant today- he should be able to work it out. I too also have my $500 CN returned. if anyone’s nervous about Alaska to Hawaii what I’m doing is Hawaii on the Pride of America and then flying to Whittier from Honolulu and taking the Jade in 2025. Way cheaper than the spirit and barely any sea days!

Now seeing cancellations for Asia cruises for 2025.. another one of the cruises I had planned for that year. Just waiting for the email. I was wondering if anyone was able to add the 20% to an existing reservation? I have 2 $100 thank you coupons, a FCC of $480 already applied to my trip to Australia in January. Would love to add the 20% but since it’s not on my account yet my PCC can’t see it yet
