How strictly has this been enforced recently? It seems… mean that they would not allow exceptions for people who want to get soup and salad as opposed to one of those two and what would be a more expensive app (for example, with Cagney’s I am allergic to shellfish and have a strong aversion to most fish incl. tuna, so all of the available apps are a no-go) 👀 If they’re not even allowing substitutions (especially if the items would be cheaper in terms of a la carte price), that would not be cool; I understand a limit on the total number of items and one main course per person, but to not allow common-sense swaps would be a major buzzkill 😒

I was going to do this (was running into glitches when I tried though, hence the chat), but the person I spoke to on the chat said I could be charged extra if I did this; I think I will follow www3traveler’s lead per their reply 🙂

I was attempting to book reservations for specialty dining via the chat on NCL’s website and was told that solo diners, as well as reservations with an odd number of guests, could not be booked prior to boarding. Is this actually the case? If so, am I going to run into availability issues if I am forced to book onboard? Just seems really odd that they can’t figure out how to pre-book solo diners and reservations for odd numbers of guests 🧐🤨 lol if anybody has directions to get to the reservation desk on the Jewel as quickly as possible, that would be appreciated 😅 Thanks in advance for any constructive insight/advice 😎

How does one know what category one’s bid is in (minimum/low/fair/etc.)? I did not get any indicator when I made my bid. I pretty much *need* the upgrade due to mobility issues but paying more than I have to would suck 😬
