  1. I only use the official websites not third party sites, much better results.
  2. You can purchase the Cinque Terre card online and avoid the lines at the train station. The cost for a one day €18.20, the cats gives you unlimited train and access to the paid trails.
  3. I was able to set a start date for service to begin. This started the 30 day cycle. Just make sure you do not check the auto renew if your trip is less than 30 days.
  4. Do a little research with Verizon, they have the $10 per day, per line and a $100 per line monthly plan for international travel. Depending on how long you will be traveling in Europe the monthly plan may be more cost effective. We used the $10 plan when traveling last summer on the Rhine River and it worked great but we only were only there 9 days so it was a little less expensive to to the $10 plan. However our daughter is currently in Japan for 13 days so the monthly works better for her.
  5. Yes we did book YC, however we specifically asked multiple time if deposits were refundable and we were assured there would be no problem. That was the only reason we felt comfortable booking on-board. Now dealing with MSC via phone/email is just a joke. Customer service says we need to email existing reservations, then existing reservations says contact customer service. Customer service says they have no way to directly escalate the issue to a supervisor. Credit card dispute for deceptive practice is next step.
  6. Has anyone booked on-board and had the on-board agent mislead them on the ability to get a refund if you cancel? We were assured by the on-board representative multiple time we could get a full refund if we cancelled more than 60 days before sailing. However, when the booking was confirmed via an email the terms showed non-refundable. Now MSC is saying oh-well terms are no refund. Anyone else experience this type of bait/switch?
