No, not at all. That's an interesting assumption. We cruised with Celebrity in March and we have another in December. We are new to Celebrity, but we're at much higher levels with Princess, Carnival, and Norwegian. I suspect their goal in lowering the PUP'S and frequency is to dwindle interest. Then they can legitimately say that there wasn't enough interest in the program to continue. Otherwise, keeping the program with reduced rewards doesn't impact them much. Win-win for them either way.

Have you filled in your profile and checked off the Captain's Club/other newsletters? This seemed to be the difference between my husband's and my account last October. I had received a follow-up email after I signed up asking for me to fill in my profile, but I didn't, it got buried, and I didn't get any PUP emails. He signed up and completed his profile, and started getting them. I completed my profile, checked off all the newsletters and finally started getting them. It might be worth a try if you haven't already...

I have. As I said, the PUP's no longer make much difference.

At this rate of 1 - 3 CC points and not even monthly, it will be nearly impossible to get to the next level. 🙁 It's almost a toss-up of whether it's worth getting all the non-PUP emails to get so few PUP's...

Sigh. I've only managed to get 1 PUP opportunity in the nearly 3 months I've been signed up for the right newsletters - and I'm going on Celebrity Reflection in a month. Looks like Classic is the best I can do... 🙁

Hi, I'm new to Celebrity and PUPs, although I have cruised with Princess, Carnival, and Norwegian. Will be on the Celebrity Reflection in March. I saw the convo about free coffee as a perk to move up. Just wondering, isn't coffee, tea, iced tea, etc. free for everyone like on ships of the other brands? TIA
