More people are starting to get dressed for tonight - our first dressy night AND Christmas Eve. This young lady is easily the best dressed person at GDC.

Here are a few "clean" pictures from the tea; it was well attended. Our table (7 people) decided what made it different from the other teas was the use of red and green frosting; the items seemed to be the same. Server confirmed the tea that was served was the black tea they always use. It was pretty - glad so many people went. Here's my plate

Nutcracker Tea is packed - at least the line for it is! I could not get a picture of a stand w/o someone in it.

Smooth waters as seen from the Lido lunch table. And lunch. The chicken salad (eaten w/o the bun) was very onion forward.

The policy is (IMO) well written and easy to understand. The puzzling and hard to comprehend part is why people believe they're entitled an exemption from adhering to the policy and that such exception is acceptable to passengers at large. I hear ya on nap vs yummy food - who wants to make such important decisions so early in the day?! Here are today's vs what is loaded on the Navigator App (spoiler alert: there are no specials on Nav App). A difference you'll likely notice between Carnival and HAL is the home country is not on the HAL name tags like it is on Carnival. But they will freely tell you if you ask. Enjoy your cruise!

This morning's breakfast; rejected the undercooked bacon which I did not order and was able to get the ham. Both the chocolate pancake & biscuits gravy are from the daily special. I asked for small order of each, so I assume full orders are more generous. The empty scraped spot on the plate next to the biscuit is where the bacon lived for a very brief time. Couldn't eat half of either after filling up on all that juice & coffee, lol.

Oops - I think I'm sailing in the wrong direction, lol.🙄 Maybe this is why the HI excursions show no availability 😉

You know, I am. The only thing I still cannot get used to, and I knew it would be an adjustment, is not being able to sit out early AM w/coffee & bacon watching the sunrise. I'm fortunate that I'm not in a tiny box w/small shower that I've read about. It doesn't feel cramped and the TV is not at a weird angle, so no struggles there. A/C works great, no real noise (other than the dogs) like slamming balcony doors and no "traffic" since it's forward of the forward elevators (only traffic are people in the cabins or servicing them). 😊

Got my own pot of coffee today - yay?😊 How much juice does 1 person need? I better get busy, slosh slosh... And I got a half grapefruit, too, so I think I'm good on the Vit C today

Gut says no, but it's possible. I would hope an entertainer whose show included dogs would use ones that don't bark when around people or in noisy environments - that would sure make for a different kind of show. Can you imagine when the audience claps? 🤔

They're doing a great job - I'm excited to see the holiday meals. The Daily breakfast specials in MDR have been really good.
