If you're in a suite, you should get the exact same tote bag except it will have the HAL logo w/o Club Orange 🍊 branding. Of course, that doesn't disteact from the fact that you ARE special!!😉

Once you have a bar code, you're good, no need to wait on a time or group. -

Good days, pass on the meal and drink, would try the wine, not been to Sardinia. Walked in the house about 20 min ago - dogs are still running in circles. Hope they work it out by bedtime, lol. Even though it's only 6:30pm, for us it's 1:30am due to the 7 hour time difference - we're tired. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.- 63 replies

Depends not just on the ship but location as well. Sept on Venezia our door was able to hold magnets inside and out, so putting up door decorations w/magnets was no issue. Others on the ship w/cabins in different locations reported their doors did not hold magnets. Were were in 7494; 7484 also held magnets on the door as did another near us. So deck 7 aft doors for sure holds magnets on Venezia

My experience aligns with this.

My experience is I have received the OBC per booking number according to the number of days for the individual booking. I have not had the days added together and received a single higher amount. This is for both HAL & Carnival. I have submitted one email per cruise line with multiple bookings per email with no issues- OBC has been given for each booking.

Late to the party today - we got off the ship, waited an hour for the shuttle, then headed to the hotel. We were prepared to drop bags and find something to do until check-in, but our room was ready (arrived 10:45, check-in was 3 - yippee!!). So we took a breather, walked around the street a little looking for a tobacco shop, ate pizza then walked to the beach. Fly home tomorrow and hope to be back on schedule Sun. Will probably spend Sat getting my Live review caught up. Post-sunrise in Rome from our balcony. Prayers and positive thoughts for all.- 68 replies

Carnival Firenze ~ NEW Inaugural Sailing
Haljo1935 replied to jsglow's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
Oh not sure about that. I was referring to calling anything an "inaugural" sailing when the ship was not new, had been in service w/many sailings on its log and just rebranded to Carnival. -
Does Carnival Still Offer Behind the Fun” Tours?
Haljo1935 replied to CruzerDeb's topic in Carnival Cruise Lines
This Sept on Venezia it was $130pp, lasted 3 hours. -
The brand new (at the time) Kindle Fire tablet I bought 2 years ago will not allow me to add the HAL app, I did not even try the Carnival app on my cruise last month - I just accessed their website on it. Of course, that does not have the same functions. I had to use my phone.

Carnival Firenze ~ NEW Inaugural Sailing

Same as was done for Venezia. -
Name change from granddaughter to someone else would be much cheaper. Or for her to simply not show up. Sorry for you to learn a painful lesson, but as others have said, the fee is within industry standards and spelled out in your contract.

Congrats - enjoy!! -
Lunch today was at Ristorante Pazzi di Pizza https://maps.app.goo.gl/rdEXZfphKSnhv1k16 I would have preferred some oregano, but DH thought it was great w/o it. Less than 5 min walk from our hotel is "Malibu Beach." Don't know if that's really the name of it, but that's what was on the sign. Clouds rolling in, but we stayed dry. Nice way to spend time after lunch. It's off season now & nothing is open; I'm hoping all the trash we saw blew in w/the recent storms. I don't think I got much trash in the pics. Mussels everywhere!

As I start to wind down this cruise (yep - I owe you several days of pics and will get them posted 🥴) I want to get some of the little things up so I don't forget. These are most of the misc papers that were waiting for us in our cabin when we arrived; not shown are the Mariner drink cards - we used them 🫣 and the room service menu card - they removed it today since their is no room service on debark morning. I have not seen one of these "Orange Books" in a while - they have info very helpful for new HAL cruisers. Pages are likely out of order. Pardon the shadows. Small sheet on how e-tickets work - some people are surprised to learn HAL does not issue printed excursion tickets. All you need to know about laundry - we no longer need it (the form, not the service) but happily say we made good use of the paid services before earning the perk. And this is from today, not received with the others, but I want to post it now then move on - this was waiting on our bed when we returned from spending the day in port. It wasn't put in our box last night or delivered early this morning; it was delivered to our cabin after we had already left on a tender in Sorrento. Really?
