  1. There was a thread recently where it was reported a large group was allowed express access to one of the MDR which greatly impacted dining for the remaining passengers. I appreciate @VMax1700 list of groups and charters and do check it before booking. With that said, things happen, schedules change... I was bumped (last year) for this months cruise when it became a charter. We're it a group rather than full charter, there would have been no notice from HAL. I hope OP reports back they had a wonderful cruise.
  2. And I was very glad you did post them (as did a few of your shipmates) so we can all see what options might (or might not) be. You know how we love to discuss our food here on CC 🫣 I think it's interesting that PG did a regional menu (added the Far East section) for your itinerary; I've seen that in the MDR and Lido, but had not noticed it in PG. It will be interesting to see if anything comes of these menus.
  3. Took advantage of PTO today and did some work on our upcoming AK cruise, which Navigator tells me is 25 days away. Upgraded seats on the outbound flight - need best odds of sleeping 😴 after leaving the house at 3:45am 🥴. Changed return ✈️ so we now leave at 11:25am instead of 6:10pm, which means another stop in Seattle w/o touring the city, and accepted a seat upgrade 🤞we get upgraded to 1st class like we did last time for DHs b-day; maybe the Universe will be equally generous this time for our anniversary. Download menus for the places DH wants to eat at in Juneau and Ketchikan so he can study (and drool) over the next couple weeks. Confirmed airport shuttle and fur baby sitter 🐕 🐕 🐈 Put kidney stone meds in suitcase 🧳 (only thing I've packed) along w/hopes they're not needed. It's getting real 🎉 Told DH I may not be able to walk, lift my suitcase or pee, but I'm getting on that ship!!
  4. Please and thank you. Maybe some intel on status of the test menu and potential rollout date, if applicable, if you're comfortable asking questions.
  5. DH always gets them at lunch in PG.
  6. During Covid times when restrictions were in place and restaurants closed to eat-in patrons, our area frequently offered drive-thru picnics. I don't recall seeing them anymore. Maybe they're coming back w/Covid numbers rising 🤔 🤷‍♀️ I think they're a good idea anytime 😊
  7. +1000 @DeeniEncinitas you are extremely talented - your creations are stunning.❤️
  8. Congrats @Denise T 🥂 What will you do with yourself? Doing what makes you happy - you've earned it!! And I agree w/the others - a cruise 🛳 is a fine way to start.
  9. Happy Birthday @StLouisCruisers to Austin 🎉 driving is a pretty good 🎁
  10. Club HAL area was completely redsigned last fall on NS when it was in dry dock.
  11. These Pinnacle Grill menus were very recently posted by someone currently on the Westerdam. We leave later this month on the Eurodam and are hoping to learn if these have been rolled out fleetwide or if they're being tested. So, would be appreciative if someone currently on or very recently off other ships (especially the Eurodam) can confirm they have/had these menus or the "usual" PG menus.
  12. The menu does not show a surcharge for all steaks - the surcharge (when applicable) is the last line under the steak with "supplement "
  13. Thanks @richwmn for posting ALL the menus. We leave in 26 days for AK and will use these as we plan. Sounds like you had a great sail a way and first day.
  14. Rabbit 🐇 Rabbit 🐇 White Rabbit 🐰 Bon Voyage @lindaler @richwmn @Seasick Sailor @USN59-79⛴️🍾
  15. Iceberg Wedge, no cheese, 1000 Island Candied Bacon Small cut Ribeye w/shallot red wine bordelaise Side sautéed onions & green beans Chocolate Souffle Cappuccino Wheelbarrow to roll me out afterwards 🥴
