  1. So if I read all this right, the people with Independent tours already booked are the last group since I am not a 4 or 5 start mariner - Correct?
  2. @scluvsrain Thank you for the info on tendering. I have never done this before and I have some independent tours and I just want to make sure I have enough time to get ashore because I am not a 4 or 5 start mariner/ @RetiredMustang Thank you for the tender information along with the excursion review. That one is a popular excursion so it is nice to know its a good one especially in good weather 🙂
  3. How did the tendering work in SItka? Did it take a long time to get to shore?
  4. I would love if cruisers would share their opinions on the shore excursions they participated in on this cruise. Please also note if it was a HAL or a private/independent (non-HAL) tour.
  5. How was yesterday's Meet & Greet? Did you get the expected 300+ people? How was the space they gave you?
  6. Thank you all. This was helpful and I will book prior to the cruise. Also would have never known to choose complimentary (or something else) when booking. Love these roll calls I learn so much! Donna
  7. Thank you for your comments. This might sound funny but I have only been on 2 short cruises and my husband only 1 and we have never eaten at a specialty dining restaurant. We have 3 dining credits and I was wondering what your suggestion would be for when to use them and your opinion on both Pinnacle & Canaletto? Thanks
  8. @Crusin-Suzan Do you find the aft section feels more of the ship motion than other cabins you have been in? Donna
  9. @Traveling Dot @Cruise Suzy Thank you for the dining information. I am definitely a planner especially for sea days. Donna
  10. @seaseer49 That would be me, Donna Westerdam.june.2025@gmail.com
  11. @jljcruise What a great idea just exploring the ports. I wish I traveled to Alaska more so I could do that also. I have never done anytime dining and would be interested to know how one books the dining times and also how you found the wait times. Thanks for participating. Donna
  12. @TableGirl Thank you for doing this. The 2024 Roll Call has been extremely helpful to me and I know this Live Roll Call will be as well. Donna
  13. Thank you for the information
  14. @disneyochem You gave me a lot to think about. Thanks for all the info
  15. @disneyochem Which Kenai Fjords tour would be your first pick: Major Marine Tours (cheaper but more people 150-180) or Seward Ocean Excursions (more money but only 6-8 people)?
  16. I have booked the Kenai Fjords Natinal Park tour for my Westerdam 2025 cruise and it also says Chicken Burrito "One of Alaska's most popular wildlife and glacier cruises delivers abundant wildlife, mountains and tidewater glaciers. Departing from Seward, this boat cruise glides past seals, whales, and puffins as you explore the rain forest coastline and tidewater glaciers and view remote Alaskan islands. Experienced and engaging captains narrate the trip, so you walk away knowing so much more about Kenai Fjords National Park and its wonders. A hot lunch is served with a southwest-style chicken burrito and tortilla chips." I am thinking about checking into private Vendo also Donna
  17. Loving all the posts. Thank you for the information. Really appreciate it.
