Cool Cruiser (2/15)

  1. We are a family of 3 and they told us to just book it for 4 people and that's what we did and had no issues
  2. We used our specialty dining credits that were included at Cagneys and Pinchos and we had more food on our table then we knew what to do with 🙂 and we had no additional cost to us.
  3. Update on pants from our trip: My husband wore pants to both specialty restaurants we went to, Cagneys and Pincho's. He was going to try to just wear dressier shorts and see what happens, but we saw them turn a couple away at the check in desk for Bayamo and Pinchos for their outfits not being in line with the dress code, so we figured why chance it? He was able to wear just regular shorts to Taste and Savor with a nice polo shirt and we had no issues. We didn't realize that O'Sheehan's had a dress code, and we went there for breakfast one day with bathing suits and cover ups on and the manager came over to our table halfway through our breakfast and told us there was a dress code. We didn't need to leave or anything and I had a full tank top bathing suit style top on and shorts over my bathing suit and then a cover up over that, but my daughter definitely had a small bikini on and a crochet type coverup on so maybe someone complained, who knows. It wasn't a big deal. We did find it slightly amusing as the later it got the less clothes were worn up there at O'Sheehan's at night with no one batting an eye 🙂Our next cruise mu husband will just bring one pair of nice pants for specialty restaurants. Thanks everyone for all the replies, it was beyond amusing!!
  4. He usually wears dressier shorts and a polo but he will bring pants just in case thanks
  5. We will be leaving for our cruise in 8 days, we’ve traveled a lot but this is our first cruise 🙂 We have reservations for two specialty restaurants and plan to go to the main dining rooms a few times too. My husband is wondering if they enforce the dress code for men to wear pants at dinner? We’ve been to some places that enforce it and others that don’t in our travel's and we are wondering what everyone else’s experience has been. We will be traveling on the Escape if that matters, thanks!
  6. We did get an early boarding time to try to make sure we could get it all done, I didn’t realize you could book at the restaurants too, thank you!
  7. We are 20 days out for our first cruise on the Norwegian Escape, we have done our check in and we were able to book one show (The choir of men) and one of our restaurants for specialty dining (Cagney's) ahead of time. I was unable to book our other restaurant or any other shows, when I called Norwegian, they told us we have to book everything else on the ship. My question is if I can book both the shows/entertainment and the specialty restaurants on the kiosks on the ship or do we need to go to a different spot to book the shows? Any help/advice is appreciated Thanks!!
  8. I called Norwegian when we had to change one of our reservation dining times and couldn’t find any other times available and they were very helpful and able to change it for us
  9. Hi we are first time cruisers trying to figure everything out before our trip in May. We got the free at sea with the onboard spending credit and I’m trying to figure out if you can use this anywhere on the ship or if there’s only certain things you can use it on? Also does this just automatically come off your account when you purchase something or do you need to specify you want the credit used? Any info is appreciated thanks!
