The FAS gratuity is inded a gratuty/tip. The DSC is NOT a gratuity. It is discussed at https://www.ncl.com/faq#!#what-is-onboard-service-charge. Tips are discussed at https://www.ncl.com/faq#!#what-about-gratuities. Many people confuse the two.

She is rght. Everythign is goign up, snd it id doing so miuch more dramatically than it had been prior to 2020. I wonder what changed in ths country in 2020? Hmm, oh yeah, I know... As we all know in a free market system, teh buyer ultimately sets the price. Simple solution (as will all purchase decisions), if you think someting is being offered at a price that is tohugh, do not buy it. BINGO. BTW no one MAKES you book a cruise, rspecially 24 times a year!

Yes you can try TO Google them but as a suggestion ShoreExcursioneer is very good and hads a great cancellation/refund policy.

NCL hurting for bookings/cash flow? 0% APR offer
ICutTheCheese replied to J0Y0US's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
It amazes me that so many people have such little knowledge of finanical and marketing matters. I can hardly wait for the "The Sky Is Failing" post. -
NCL hurting for bookings/cash flow? 0% APR offer
ICutTheCheese replied to J0Y0US's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
You are making a lot of assumptions. Many businesses offer 0% APR from time to time. Car dealers do so a kot abd they are making record profits, Just anoterh sale by NCL is all. -
Actually it is geosynchronous

Does the Buffet post allergens on the food labels?
ICutTheCheese replied to Railfan30's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I've never seen it and it woudl be hard to do seeing as oen coudl be allergic to almost any foor item. best to email "What about special dietary needs? If you have any food allergy or a dietary requirement that requires Kosher meals or gluten-free food product, please advise a Norwegian Reservations Agent, or your Travel Agent at the time of booking. Obtaining the product for many of these requests requires 30-days notice prior to sailing, and we want to ensure that we are able to fulfill your request. We cannot guarantee Kosher Meal requests made within 30 days of sail date. For the protection of all of our guests, it is not permissible to bring aboard any food items that would require preparation by the ship’s staff, or food items that would require cold storage in our kitchen facilities. faq#dietary-needs" -
U[grade? We don't even use the 150 minutes per person. Then again we spend most of our time on a cruise actually enjoying the cruise, not with our noses stuck in a computer. At the end of teh crise we have use MAYBE 15 minutes per person. LOL!

The value of the 10% is what is going down. The way the do it is apply the $50 first then give you 10% off of what you actually pay. $100 - $50 = $50. $50 less 10% - $45. Not everyone gets the EXTRA 19% off though. You are getting your full $50. Remember that the $50 off is PER EXCURSION so if you take more than one excursion per port you are getting even more.

What to tip bag handlers at pier in NYC?
ICutTheCheese replied to JessLCH's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
Whatever you choose to give is sufficient.. It is your money to spend (or not) however you elect/ -
Save your money. Vibe was almost pure hype at the old lower price. Now it is not even close to worth the price.

Any suggestions on specialty dining
ICutTheCheese replied to Madhatter12's topic in Norwegian Cruise Line
I'll chip in with Le Bistro and La Cucina are at the VERY bottom of the list. The MDRs are far better than either of theese two and jave a better variety on the menu, I'd skip them completely. -

In all reality there is no OBC available tor pay for anything. You buy twp $250 certificates for $250 each and they charge those to yoru account. Then then apply one $250 credit which basically gives you a buy one get oen free deal, byt there is nothing at all to apply to anytjing. -
