Does anyone have an experience using the Hoppa On Hoppa Off bus in Hilo (Hilo's version off a Hop On Hop Off Bus)? Wondering on wait times when you got off & waited to get back on again. Any other info in appreciated.

Looks like the Crowne Plaza has free shuttle to the cruise port? Anyone used it? Did it work well?

That would have been unusual for him to be on a cruise that you were on and neither of you knew it, especially if you did anytime dining. But I guess it's possible.

I must be having a senior moment. I was also on the Royal for TA cruise in Oct. and have no recollection of Godwin being on that cruise. :confused:

He was on the Royal for the transatlantic in October. He was wonderful but we have also had other head waiters who were just as good.

This is our 1st time to London with a 3 night stay & then sailing out of Southampton. Which Premier Inn would you recommend & why?

Premier Inn Victoria, Premier Inn County Hall or Premier Inn Waterloo?

Sounds like you are having a great cruise & enjoying your suite. I loved the breakfast at Sabatini's the one time we had a suite. I had the Americano's everyday too.:p

Pam, perhaps I didn't pose my question the right way. What I'm looking for is whether or not to apply it while it's still with Princess, or whether I should give it to one of my TA's initially. Will their discount be reflected on the before or after fare. Am I clear now, or am I still confusing?

When we got the credit because having to cancel during Sandy the credit automatically came off the price of the new cruise I booked it a week later with Princess. My TA gave me a discount off the new price. I did ask her if it would have made a difference in the discount if she would of applied it but she said no I could only get the discount off the price I paid. Almost wasn't worth it to turn over because of that.

Hi All. Sorry for not posting...it has literally been impossible to do anything in the internet this week. I see TONS of the 1000 kids on board with their noses in phones or other devices. I suppose the amount of bandwidth being used is unexpectedly high.

Is the regular afternoon tea in a dining room also offered or just the extra cost Royal Tea?

That's sad that Princess isn't keeping a ship dedicated to the Hawaiian itinerary next year. We've done it three times and it's our favorite itinerary.

Good Morning from Ft Lauderdale where it's warm and still dark. Wheelie almost packed and then we'll run up to HC and grab some breakfast.

Aloha,

How nice of you to think of booking because of us and David Cole. We really appreciate all the positivity that has come our way from past guests, (and future ones as well) as we truly love passing on the aloha spirit to everyone!

 

As far as when we will all be together again, it is hard to say. David has just been extended to March 20th, and then will be off on a well deserved vacation. As far as next season, no one can say for sure where anyone will be, as we have yet to be told our ship assignment, and the same is true of David Cole. Princess is not going to have a "full time" Hawaiian ship as they have had in the past, so we are not sure if we will be on the Grand Princess or the Star Princess for 2014-15. The only thing I can say is to keep an eye out on our Facebook page, as that is where all announcements are made first for our friends. Just follow the link at the bottom of this response.

 

We certainly hope to be an integral part of the Princess Hawaiian experience for many years to come, so as soon as we know something, we will let everyone else know.

Solara, according to the Pitter Patter, Phoenix Rising is boarding today so I would imagine that one of the bands is leaving. We like Phoenix Rising.

Thanks for your wonderful live. I can't wait till March even thou it's the 4th time doing the Hawaii cruise. Always one of my favorites. I finally did the hula show when we went in January & agree it was alot of fun.

Any idea how long the bands will be onboard. Sounds like you were lucky with the dancing music. Hope we are too.

Do they do ballroom dance classes in addition to the Hula dance classes?

Another one that wants to thank you for all you have given us. I almost wish I'd sailed on the Royal after you & not on the TA since there is so much I missed seeing after viewing all your photos.

Since we have only seen your iPhone 5 photos & they are so beautiful we must all be in for an extra treat seeing the rest on your regular camera. You truly take spectacular pictures.

Great news about all the dancing on the ship. Only hope it last until March since we don't sail till the 20th!

You said in Hilo you took the Hoppa On Hoppa Off to the Japanese Gardens & Rainbow Falls. Where else did it go to?? Also did it take you downtown & then back to the ship too?
