  1. Had some random cas rep call me out of the blue and say I have great offers for you. I picked a cruise 5 day Bermuda in feb she said ok an oceanview for you both only $938. I was like you think this is a great offer? No thanks.  A couple weeks later I called back and asked what I could get on the exact cruise - comp forward facing haven penthouse. Total $520 for both. Discrepancies ya think? Lol

  2. Hi we booked a YC interior and am wondering if they have handicapped accessible interior YC suites. I use a scooter so wondering. On my other cruises on other lines I either get a HC room and can bring my scooter in to charge or if I’m not in HC room I have someone take it at night and deliver it back in the morning.

If you get a note from your doctor. Stating  that you can’t drink alcohol and you can’t have carbonated drinks one person will be allowed to purchase.

You don’t need a doctors note. There are 4 in our cabin. 2 people drink alcohol 2 of us don’t. We bought 2 alcohol beverage packages and 2 of the ones that have soda, coffee, etc. wasn’t a problem at all

We currently have a JS booked for a UK sailing in Sep 22, along with the normal 2 x Ult drinks package.  I am looking at bidding on a number of upgrade options, some of which come with the UDP included.  The question is simple.  If I win an upgrade that includes the drinks package can I cancel or does this happen automatically?  Second question what upgrades include the drinks package?

We bid on a 2 bed ATS star class from a crown loft suite sky class. Had originally paid for our gratuity which is included in star class and our gratuity was returned to our cc and yes we got everything star class has I,e. Beverage package, dining package, gratuities and of course a genie

we are again in a crown loft and just bid on the 2 bed ATS wondering if lighting can strike twice

  5. Our best was a comp crown loft suite on RCI for 4 of us we paid $145 each. We then bid on a 2 bedroom ATS minimum bid of $500 ($1000 divided by 4 was $250) this was star class so included gratuities for all 4, beverage package for all 4, WiFi for all 4, specialty dining for all 4. And of course our amazing genie which comes with star class.  Total pp for this was $395 pp once in a lifetime deal for this cruise. The suite was awesome

On our cruise next March, I signed up to participate in the slot pull. Never done one, not a gambler.

I do think I will use my own card tho when it comes to my turn.

What can I purchase with my 4 points? Looking for suggestions.😁

Is this a joke or are you serious?

I thought the points were per dollar, not per button-press?

    So a $20 buy-in with 50 people would be $1000, so 1000 points, no?

My last few cruises have had 1-3 slot pulls organized, with at least one of them being a $100 buy-in. (Not sure how many people participated, because I don't gamble with anything other than the free $8 that Royal gives me each cruise.)

With the current casino offers, I think you get a free cruise at 1500 points... doesn't take many high-dollar slot pulls for the organizer to get a free cruise (or two!).

    It’s 1 point for every $5 through so for a $20 slot pull it’s 4 points

Thank you for your review.  It gave a a good insight  on what to expect in the Haven.  Do all Haven  rooms have tubs,  not walk in showers?  Did you find the tub hard to get in and out of?  If you are familiar with the tubs in Club Balcony Suites on the Jewel class ships, are they the same height?   Thanks

Yes they all have tubs but some have separate walk in showers which is a big benefit for me

Yes it was per person, after the refunds for gratuities, deluxe package and the unlimited dining we had already bought and add in the voom we now get it worked out about £50 more than we paid originally for the JS we were in. It was our 26th wedding anniversary on the day we boarded so decided to try for the RoyalUp and was delighted to get it.

Makes perfect sense. 2 years ago we were in a crown loft suite (4 of us) and bid minimum bid of $500 pp for first two guest total bid of $1000 which was $250 pp and we were on a comp for crown loft paying only port fees and taxes we ended up winning our bid for a total of $345 pp fo squa theatre 2 bedroom. Once you include the beverage package, dining package, WiFi, gratuities our cruise was basically free. Once in a lifetime cruise. We just bid last week on our upcoming cruise again we will see how it goes this time

I don’t blame you. I have sort of the reverse situation.  I also accepted a casino comped room on the Symphony but through club Royale I would have to pay over 2k to upgrade from the comped JS to a grand suite.  So I’m saying no thank you to that and hoping to get a offer to bid for less through Royal Up. Thanks for your post, I was wondering if they would still give you an opportunity to bid via Royal Up if you were in a comped room, so I see that it is possible

We were comped a crown loft suite on Allure ($95 pp) invited to bid. We bid on ATS 2 bedroom and won $500 pp bid (that was between 4 people) deal of a lifetime and so was that cruise
