The sad thing is, all they had to do was apologise and offer a good will gesture of a little bit of on board spend on current or future cruise and we also would have booked future cruises / credit. Negligible cost but good customer relations. This is the way all the other cruise lines work in my experience. NCL seem to be lacking very basic management skills
  2. Shame they are point blank refusing to refund everyone for the days paid for but unable to use. This would seem to be a very simple way to win people back
  3. We were in Belfast yesterday which is under exactly the same rules and laws as Scotland but no alcohol until midnights
  4. All the officers and managers are in hiding refusing to talk to anyone
  5. You queue up for long time to be told they can’t do anything you need to contact office in Miami. They give you a card with an email address. Surprise surprise - nobody gets a response. I read that some people have made contact on phone or on line chat and are told you need to take it up with customer services on board nothing to do with the office. We all now know NCL blatantly lie. I don’t expect to get any apology or compensation. We’re just going to vote with our feet and never use NCL again. We had intended booking future cruises while on board but not now
  6. staff to deal with the the very disgruntled guests. No information or explanation given. No one can say if this will happen again in Belfast. Rumours are that NCL are saving money by not paying local duty. Well that’s a goodbye from me and many others on board to future cruises with NCL. Not even an offer of a refund to the people who paid for drinks packages. Still no response to anyone from NCL. Officers and managers still in hiding. There will be a riot if the same thing happens in Belfast. NCL pay your taxes and stop treating your customers so badly or you will lose them all.
