  4. shirazcruiser: Speaking as a person in IT for many years... it has absolutely nothing to do with technology, software or hardware! It has to do with the decisions from above in RCL. Starry Eyes: I agree, when you buy something you should understand what the agreement is BUT when Execs from that company plainly state publicly that the options will shortly change (like precruise booking) than that is what u expect. I booked UPD but again if they misrepresented the fact that pre-cruise booking will be available after Jan... will return it!
  5. put this in another thread BUT no answers: I have always used a wireless travel Router at Hotels (TP-Link AC750 Travel Router) as I do not like being ‘open’ on wireless connections. I read somewhere that many ships, even with Starlink, had very poor connectivity in your stateroom? I’m will be more aft on the 12th floor on Symphony and want to make sure that I actually would get connectivity without a problem… as I do most of my on-line work in my cabin and if the connection is bad… would not buy the daily package. Anyone have experiences?

  13. What really can be expected from a GOOD TA? This way I am NOT unrealistic with expectations.
  14. Good point... The TA has not yet responded so maybe I should not expect a NO.... unfortuately a life being a Risk Mgr makes me always assume the worst and prepare for that!

  17. That stinks. Hopefully that won't be the case as we retire ion about 18 months and will be cruising a lot then (kids will also be out of college) so losing a 3 time a year cruiser should get some type of attention...
  18. But so far EVERY cruise price drop I found, not the TA, and its not 'lying' but 'refusing to reprice. That is not reason?
