  1. No one is saying anything for sure at this point. Time will tell.
  2. It’s not quite that simple, very complicated. Many well qualified people within government and private sector working hard. We are not giving up.
  3. I respectfully disagree. There is an additional FB group regarding restitution. A lot going on behind the scenes.
  4. Who would pay $1 million for an angry customer list, none of whom have any interest in a 20% discount on a cruise or for that matter any dealings at all with a new owner. Makes no sense.
  5. This is a forum for victims, not law school. We are all livid with no one helping. Give us a break.
  6. Just because no one will go after him, for God only knows why, does not mean he is innocent. OK?
  7. Theft and fraud… over and over and over and over and over again.
  8. OK, with all due respect, what would you call someone who takes your money, does not deliver the product, but keeps your money and disappears. Call me stupid, but I call that theft.
  9. Since my own AG is refusing to help me, I don’t see where I have any choice except to keep pounding away at the Massachusetts AG. Maybe they will help me just to get rid of me. Any other suggestions?
  10. Let’s see, our own AG’s are refusing to help us. No matter where we live, we have all been victimized by the SAME company, which was based in Massachusetts. Duh. I say cop out on the part of the Massachusetts AG. What are we supposed to do? Just say, oh well, too bad I don’t live in Massachusetts. I don’t think so.
  11. I would consider a great job when I see legal action taken against Henry Lewis.
  12. IF, I say IF, the AG can determine that Henry Lewis used company money to pay off personal debts, they should go after his personal assets to pay us. I am sure he is still personally a very wealthy man. And here we sit.
  13. Confused by your post as I do not see that on their FB page. Looks like they have not posted anything since April.
  14. Thank you. Mine was through my credit union. I will give them a call, nothing to lose. Of course Vantage won’t take credit cards. They don’t want the credit card companies to come after them. What an operation.
  15. Stealing from the cruise directors, about as low as you can go.
  16. I am not a FB member so if anything significant should be reported, certainly would appreciate it if we would be informed on this forum. Thanks!
  17. Yes, it’s a very sad situation on all levels. Hope we can all eventually get some justice.
  18. Yes, we too wrote to the Senators/Reps in MA.
  19. Interesting article in the Globe today about why anyone would want to buy Vantage.
  20. I think what made me the angriest was hearing the former cruise Director say that they did not get the tips that had been collected for them after they were fired. Could Vantage go any lower?
  21. That’s great for the Pennsylvania victims. My AG in Virginia is not helping me. The offending company is in Massachusetts, they should be helping all of the victims, but they seem to be helping only their own victims. What about the rest of us?
  22. So if the company is sold, is the new owner liable for the debts (us), or are we all left in the dust? Paying all of us should be the first priority.
  23. I saw the piece on the news last night. I have had communication with that reporter, glad to see he is staying on it. The AG wants victims to file complaints. We have done our part. Now they need to do the right thing.
