  1. Thanks for moving this.. I failed to see this forum.. Or didnt really process what it was... So I'll go look and I bet I can find all kind of info 🙂
  2. I just wanted to say how different things are in different parts of the world and I love it.. When you were talking about the driving distance I had to go look and see exactly how far it was.. As being in the states, I have no clue where stuff is in the UK.. So when I saw the distance, I kinda chuckled to myself about that just being a good afternoon drive lol.. I get it though, but just thought it was funny (at least to me 🙂 ) Glad you had a great time!
  3. We'll be driving to PC in December and have never done a cruise before. So just looking for some pointers / do's / don'ts / watch out for PC. ie: best parking lot / how to drop off wife / luggage while I go park or do it like at the airport where you park then put luggage on shuttle and they take you to the docks? Not sure exactly how close / far etc etc things are.. Just give me your ideas of how-to 🙂 Thanks!
  4. I guess it wasn't clear I meant outside of the cruise world wasting money
  5. I am really looking forward to trying some new foods, so I am hoping they can do small portions as I've always been a somewhat picky eater so didnt want to waste the money if I didnt like something. I also dont want to waste a full portion if I just dont like it..
  6. I know this is old, but I just ran across this info on a non-logged in page on NCL that specifically clarifies the point that was vague when you're logged in.. I was looking for clarification and the search pulled up this thread so maybe it will help others in the future.. The Welcome Aboard Premium Plus Package includes: • 1 x Light Up Frame • 2 x Lanyards with photo insert • 1 x Welcome Aboard Photo • 1 x Route Map • (8) Portrait 8x10 Prints • Digital files of the 10 Photographs selected in this package.
  7. Ok I’d seen that but wasn’t sure if it was “current”
  8. I am pretty sure the buffet has pizza by the slice and the Italian joint has them for a charge. Can you get a whole pizza complimentary and take back to your room or do I remember seeing a room service menu that has it for the delivery charge (no clue if what I saw is current) ? I know pizza isnt the reason you go on a cruise, just curious about it because sometimes we just want pizza lol..
  9. Oh thanks! For some reason my brain was telling me no food or beverages... It's just beverages... So can bring our own special snacks if we WANT to... 🙂
  10. I know you cannot bring food, water, snacks etc onto NCL, but what about drink mixes? You know the little packets you add to water (like tea, lemonade, kool-aid etc etc? How strict are they and do they consider that "food". I know you can get certain things as part of the free at sea thing, but sometimes you just dont want to go get it if you're in your stateroom and all cozy.
  11. Thank you so much!!! I guess in my mind it seems like more stuff would be open on sea days as far as bars and stuff, or is it just because since the ship is moving certain bars and stuff are harder to have open?
  12. We'll be going on the Escape 12/2-9 for our first cruise and we couldnt be more excited!! (First time that's ever been said I bet!) Anyway, we kinda understand that on port days the casino is closed etc etc. But any other things closed on those days? And on sea days, seems silly question, but are anythings closed on sea days? I wouldnt think so since EVERYONE is on board, but being newbs, have no clue! If you dont want to be in the thick of the crowds, where are some nice places that tend to be "less crowded" on sea days.. If you want to be out and about, but not at like the pool decks etc etc.
