LOL I know they could only possibly offer FCC as the difference, and since we arent 100% sure we'll even enjoy cruising, I was wondering if it would be worth it to actually change back to a club balcony, on a deck or 2 lower to get away from being right under the pool area and just paying for the spa..

Some people probably like it and you’ll post how you like, but that font was pretty much impossible to read. It’s light and hard to read on a mobile device

" CATEGORY RECLASSIFICATONS EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 2, 2023: - Spa Balcony category B9 will be reclassified to Balcony category BA - Spa Club Balcony category M9 will be reclassified to Club Balcony category MA - The Haven Spa Suite category H9 will be reclassified to The Haven Penthouse Suite with Balcony HI SPA STATEROOM RESERVATIONS BOOKED PRIOR TO OCTOBER 2, 2023: If you made a reservation prior to October 2, 2023 for one of our spa category staterooms, your reservation will be updated to reflect the new category as listed above, and, your Thermal Suite access will be protected. Please note, a change in stateroom number or any reservation changes made on or after October 2, 2023 that adjust your voyage fare will void your complimentary Thermal Suite passes. "

It's funny, my wife and I were just talking about this if we like our first cruise and want to go more but "scale back" some (we are doing spa club balcony). I am afraid that if we do an oceanview it will cause me more issues of claustrophobia than an inside would. Being able to SEE outside, but not being able to open that damn window lol.. I could be 100% wrong, but I know how my brain works (be glad you dont have to live in it 🙂 ) So curious to read what people think..

Lots of people have been able to book before then also.. Possible all the times are taken for such a popular place? That's almost 2 weeks since 130 days when top tier can get reservations?? Or just an NCL glitch which never happens on their website.. lol

Yep, if the local government has tax taxes or whatever you will be charged while docked drink package or not.

LOL all I know it product we sell that the manufacturer offers 0% promo financing on (lawn and garden equipment) costs us between 3 & 10 % to offer that to the customer. And since here you cant legally charge for fees like that, you have to make sure all that expensive stuff is listed as a "cash price" and they can inquire for financed prices.

Actually, just found this right in the T&C.. The first guest may redeem the promotion of $50 Shore Excursion Credit on more than one shore excursion per port.

Where did you see that, only thing I saw listed was "per shore excursion" not per port.. Maybe there is finer print I missed.

They used it for "A" cruise in Feb it sounds like.. Not one already booked.

Our December cruise is sold out for our class of room (spa club balcony) and think last time I looked all haven was sold out also, soooo.. guess we wont be having any adjustments lol.. Should've kept the club balcony and paid for spa and hoped for lower fares.. oh well..

OH and pictures, I would love to get one of the packages, but they are just too crazy.. Hopefully we can find someone nice enough to snap a pic or 2 of us all fancied up.,.

We are planning on "dressing up" for for 1 or 2 of our nights dining.. Now, let's be clear. For us, dressing up means I will have dress pants and either a nice polo shirt or a long sleeve button up shirt.. No jacket or tie. For the Mrs, some sort of dress. Sooooo... that's probably what many consider normal going out for dinner clothing 😄 but for us, that's fancy schmancy.. 😉

Because I was curious and wasnt sure how it actually worked. Never been on a cruise, only have hotels to go by and normally that's been places where they text you when your room is ready (disney many times, not cruise lines, just plain disney). I get that they are trying to turn over upwards of 5k people over how ever many rooms, but do like to know what's up / how things work. So I guess to answer your question.. It doesnt matter, other than knowledge.. and as I've seen, still dont have a definite answer. Maybe you missed the part of "dont matter what times, just how they do it" So, thanks for your long speech that really had nothing to do with my question! A simple "it could be either way" would have worked just as well..

If you wait to upgrade onboard to say the free at sea plus, will it be the same price as upgrading now or will it be higher? Is that bundle only available at that price pre cruise? First time cruising and am interested in trying different spirits that I normally wouldnt and going back and forth if I want to upgrade or not..

I've read some posts, many older, some newish, but could not figure out an exact answer.. I've seen posts that say when all rooms are ready it is announced and then I have read that it was done deck by deck.. Which is right or are neither right and it could be either? Not worried about times, just how they do it. 73 days or so til we're on our first cruise!!!! Escape here we come!

What ship? Not sure, but that COULD make a difference? Maybe they are all the same across ships.. Have you searched youtube for the ship and studio walkthru? Normally if there is one they will walk into the bathroom and you can get an idea.

Yea, good to hear some ideas on first night meals. Being our first cruise I thought we may be too overwhelmed with the whole experience to have to worry about making a certain time dinner reservation. So we didnt make a specialty one.. If we do more cruises, will really have to think about it!! Sounds like a fun tradition..
